1350w of total LED power. We are talking about actual watts!!

Well after gathering all this LED power I decided to show what leds are capable of doing.

(Keep in mind that I is still not a pro grower so I hope I give people a idea of what to expect from their purchases)

List of Lights

  • California Lightworks 440W
  • LUMIGROW 350
  • CREE CXA2590
Will add more and update

which light has produced what? ive looked into the clw but for the same price (basically) per output vs the lumigrow id give the lumi the win with potentiometer and all white switch. which one do you like more, and produced more or pretty equal?

mind showing the full shot or something to reference them size wise. how many days into flower is this for you?

The measure of leds is not the watts , but the QUALITY of the watts

Example:

1300w @ 80 CRI is not as good as 1000w @ 86 CRI

The unit of measure we want to know is umoles/m^/sec, which basically means how much light intensity is reaching the canopy every second

Not many companies provide that information because they would lose customers

I am testing an Amare Technologies Solar Spec 260. It's so freakin intense that I have to keep it 30" above my babies at their current age otherwise, they bleach

These are facts that we all know ----and have been skilled with, for a few years now.

Pet, it's nice that you finally are experiencing a REAL LED that has REAL intensity, not some hot5 or some silly UFO. Your now just realizing the babies will need 30"? Your lucky that they won't still fry--- with a real LED at that distance. Babies usually do best under lower intensity LED's or better yet----trusty ol' T-5 (Actinic/3000k mixture 50/50)

Even the BML's w/ 1 watt diodes are not powerful enough for our adult flowering cannabis, IMO

Welcome PETFlora---to the real world of semi-potent LED's

Better late than never

Where does this attitude come from?

FYI BMLs use 3w Osrams, but do not have secondary lenses, which allows the bars to be much closer to the canopy

Here's a pic of a reveg under the BML,

Just sayin'

Even my 25 watt supergrowled-- fry's the crap out of my babies. Quality led's are generally too much for new clones unless they are at a significant distance

Pet, I will give you big props on your re- veg though, the bounce back was impressive, even with a pre-grown root mass, as a head start

OK

I think my experience has convinced them to add a dimmer. That way someone doesn't need t5s or anything else to veg, unless they're growing perpetual

Thanks for the props. The reveg is blowing my mind
. To think I let her outside to die, but the heavy summer rains kept the roots from drying out

Hello my friends

The total watts I'm measuring are from the wall.

Here is what is growning under what.

picture.php

Under The CLW 440W SS

SOUR D (Still flowering) Looking dense

Pure Purple Plant (Drying) Looks fluffy most likely genetics

White Widow (Still Flowering Vegged under Lumigrow) Looking really dense and nice colas

WW You can tell that Lumigrow is better for development during veg.

Under The Lumigrow 325

White Widow (Still Flowering) Looking very stacked nice colas.

my other leds have been taken down. too much light not enough girls.

Overall I'd like to say that lumigrow is the best of what I own. CLW is a good led with potency bossters (UV bulb) but lumigrow seems to produce better buds the buds are starting to get very resinous too

Here's a couple from my are lumi 650 Not great pics but they ok
Hope ya don't mind me sharing

Wow they look great I really want to get a 650 now. Would defenitly see some good numbers.

you should be able to get that with the 325 just a smaller footprint, imo your largest issue is lack of canopy control. id HIGHLY suggest you work that out first, topping, fim, lst supercrop whatever but thats what will do you better than just getting more light. then just work with one or two strains max till you dial everything in.

ive seen a few different setups running and even with in a 0-15% par difference (some same light some different lights) and have had 1/4 of the yield, and every time it was from not having a solid feeding regimen ie. or something was out of wack. once you can be sure your dialed in(everything) that 325 would produce monsters just in a smaller footprint but 100% possible.
