This thread will be the planning stages of my next grow. I’ll be in this project alone unless Snypette decides to take part. If Snypette chooses to take part then it would be a 50/50 project. Originally I had a partner but I found a better house by myself and it happens to be another owner finance with lots of opportunities and only half the cost because of location. There’s a space on the property that will comfortably fit 32 x 1,0000 watts in 2 rooms. I’m thinking of starting out with 8,000 watts while I try and get my cuts in order and make sure I still have my old cuts available. I also need to do some test crops to make sure these cuts aren’t going to come with any problems like mites or mutations.

In all the drama of the old farm, some MOMs may not exist anymore so I’ll have to figure it all out. The cuts that I was able to get back so far are:

BYTCH (ChemDD)
Nag Champa Kush / Illuminati StarDawg
Oregon ICE
Pre 98 Bubba Kush
Chem Valley Kush

I lost but am trying to get back:
Pootie Tang (StarDawg #6)
KK StarDawg
StarDawg #9
The White
MotorBreath #6
Mass Electric #’s 1, 2 & 3

Update 12/19/2014: Current MOMs that I'm working with:
BYTCH (ChemDD)
Nag Champa Kush / Illuminati StarDawg
Oregon ICE
Pre 98 Bubba Kush
Chem Valley Kush
The White
Motorbreath#6
Alaskan Clone Only
StarDawg#6 / Pootie Tang
StarDawg#9
Gorilla Glue#4
Headband
Platinum Girl Scout Cookies
Mobb Boss
SVF OG Kush
Mass Electric #1
Mass Electric #2

I currently have 24 cuttings that only got taken on Friday. I’ll most likely start the grow with a 4,000 watt soil crop and take cuts before they go into flowering to have a 4,000 watt RDWC set up about 30 days behind the soil crop. These first 2 crops are going to be pretty important because I’m going to need some money to pay for the construction, materials and equipment that I’m going to need. Luckily I still have around 20 ounces of Hash Oil to help me get through this financially. Without that I’d be pretty fucked right now.

I’m excited to be able to have this new journey. The world was looking pretty dark a couple of weeks ago. This operation has more opportunity than any other operation that I’ve had so it should be a good time. I don't move in for 2 weeks but stay tuned for more details on this planning phase...

16,200 Watt Vertical Bare Bulb Grow (I'm considering running 16 E-Paps instead. I should also do a test using 8 Gavita's and 8 E-Paps to know which ones are better for my application.)

Thanks for the welcome guys! In my life, I don't have friends that I can talk and express myself with. It has become obvious to me that the grows that I involve myself with are not healthy environments for humans to be in. They take a toll on one's mind. That's one of my reasons for being here on IC. My grow threads are windows into my world and things that I'm dealing with. If you don't like that, no one has to read them. Although I am not the perfect human that I want to become, I believe that I've made many changes to myself since I first joined IC to try and become a better human. I've spent a lot of time the last few months looking back at my past. I personally feel that I've changed a lot for the better but I know I still have a lot to work on.

This project came out of the blue at the last minute. I was supposed to sign papers at another house with a partner but the rent was almost 3k a month and it would have been a lot of work there to try and fit 12,000 watts there. Because my friend knew the landlord, I had him hint of the idea of growing because I didn't want any problems if the landlord came over and saw the garage renovated and off limit. The landlord was workable and could easily be bought by throwing money at him but to put all that money and work into somebody else's house doesn't make much sense to me unless that was my only option.

The new house isn't really in an area which I like but the house is huge. It's over 4 times bigger than the first option which makes this a great situation. Because money is so tight right now, I was able to get a delay on paying the owner a downpayment. I'm explaining this because it might help someone else who reads it. Right now I only have access to 2k and it would be a loan from Snypette. I have plenty of larf and sugar trim from the farm to make around 20oz of hash oil that will yield me at least 25k. The problem is that I have nowhere to make the oil. I have to wait to move into this location to start making the oil. The good thing is that I already have patients ready to take 2-3 oz's once it's made which will be enough to get things started. I've gone into operations in the past with much less than what I have access to now so I feel that I have plenty of breathing room. The good thing is that I still have most of my lights and equipment.

The goal is to pay the owner the downpayment as soon as I possibly can so this guy will have no reason to come to the location for any reason. I came up with a really good excuse for buying a good amount of time to have to come up with the down payment.

All of my other grows ended because of other people who were associated with the grow on some level. I want to do everything that I possibly can to keep this grow with no one else besides possibly Snypette and then I should have much less risk involved. This will be a much easier project to handle if Snypette chooses to get involved so I hope that she does.

Right now I'm just hoping that all 24 cuttings root so I'm taking good care of them. They are all in starter rockwool cubes. As they root I'll be transferring them to small pots of Fox Farm Ocean Forest.

I'm really surprised that this is all going on right now. It shows how fast things can change in life.

some of us don't really have any friends because of the nature of our existence. it's a good thing for forum traffic anyway, haha. i just lurk though. because of the nature of my existence, haha.

We spent the day at the new house trying to figure out a plan. We have 400 amps to work with. There's 2 rooms that are 35' x 25' each with 10' ceilings. There should't be a problem putting 32,000 watts of flowering in these 2 rooms which should still allow enough space to walk around the plants as well. I'm thinking we'll do 36 plants per room with 16,000 watts of lights in each room. Maybe 3 x 12 Bucket RDWC systems in each room. The first room most likely won't be up and running until the spring time because there's a lot of construction to do and lots of money that'll have to be spent. Luckily there's plenty of other smaller rooms to grow in for now to try and put in a quick 8,000 watts until the new rooms are built. Lot's of work ahead.

I had to get rid of a few of the clones because they were not looking too good. Most of the Chem Valley cuts were fucked up so there's only 1 left to try and root. The Pre98 Bubba's were also very bad but I have 2 that look like they'll make it. The guy who gave them to me wrapped them up in paper towels and they were not that healthy when I got them. The ChemDD's and Illuminati's look much better than the rest though. I'm thinking about making a 40 hour drive to pick up the GG4 and GSC this month to compensate for losing KK StarDawg and Pootie Tang. I just can't believe that KK and Pootie are gone. Very depressing. Snypette still has some KK StarDawg buds from many months ago that we are smoking.

I've been working on a budget for what this project is going to cost us and I'll post it within the next few days. Today I'm trying to figure out the best way for me to cool these rooms. I think instead of breaking up the operation into 4 x 8,000 watt flowering rooms, I'll do 2 x 16,000 watt rooms and grow 16 trees in RDWC in each room.

I originally wanted to go with central air but I think it's going to be hard to figure out. I think instead I'll put 2 x 3 tons of mini spits in each room. Both of the mini spits that I'm looking at come with 2 zones and have 2 air handlers and 1 condenser. So if we got 2 condensers for each room, we'd also have 4 air handlers that can be spread around for each floor.

Here are the 2 options that I'm looking at:

2x18000 Btu Dual Zone 16 Seer Inverter Mini Split Heat Pump AC
http://www.minisplitwarehouse.com/2..._Mini_Split_Heat_Pump_AC/p315964_7696110.aspx

Mitsubishi 30,000 BTU 17.5 SEER Dual Zone Heat Pump System 15+15
https://www.acwholesalers.com/Mitsu...at=cat1094&subCat=cat1037&trail=5206:15 + 15#

I called Mitsubishi today to ask them about that second option and they said that the condenser won't run if the temperature is less than 24F. They said that they don't have low ambient kits for them so I'm looking more at the first option.

I've never heard of the company in the first link but it says that it has a low ambient kit built into it and lots of other cool options. It also has more BTU's and cost $1,300 less. It says that it operates down to 5F so this one could work. I'm leaning more towards the mini splits in the first link unless anyone else knows why I shouldn't.

I'm hoping that I can find a good option for air conditioning where I can place the condenser outside in the middle of winter without the unit shutting down. If I have to, I'll consider building a room in the barn that'll house all the condensers and exhaust all that heat out as well as exhaust new air in. Wondering if anyone has any advice that will help me here.

This reminds me of how when we're standing in our respective gardens we can feel the direction the plants want to go.

Like the Force in Star Wars or something.

24 x 1000 sounds like a wonderful playground.
