building a flip flop

I'm trying to build a whole new set up and I've decided to run 1000w continuous on a flip flop system. Kinda wondering how you think everything will play out. I'm trying to go for max yield of about 2-2.5lbs a month. I was hoping two 5x5x7 tents running 4 weeks offset from each other will get me this yield. Was planning on running the 1k light with 4-4ft t5s and a 9 plant hydro setup. What I'm wondering is would it be easier to hit my goal with two 6.5x6.5x6.5 tents using a 12 plant set up and would the 1k light with the 4 t5s be enough lighting for the area without compromising quality or density? Any input would be great, just trying to bounce ideas around out there.

id stick with the 5x5, the number of em depends on how big you go and such. Ive found fewer large girls beat many little ones every time, I know other people claim otherwise but whatever...

flip flops the way to go for sure

the yield completely depends on strain, your experience, ect. IMO 2-2.5 is a stretch, that 1gpw shit seems pretty rare.

Flipping is great! I have custom built many now with great success.
My current is 2 8x15 rooms with 16 1k lights and 8 ballasts. I have veg in another 8x15 space and if you know your plant and set a "God Schedule" where you absolutely do things on time you can achieve your goals. Mine got a little off so I'm at harvest every 3 and 5 weeks. and that extra time when they are doubled up in veg can hurt for space.

If you need advice for your flip box lemme know.

Building a flip box is very easy, you need DPDT relays rated for 600V@10A minimum, 30A is preferrable. The coil voltage of the relay should be 120V, if you want more control like powering ballasts off/on each flip cycle, a PLC can be added for delayed flipping of each bulb. I've built 100s of flips with custom options, if you need any input post query here.

you need a shit load of room to be able to pull off pounds a month let alone having ones chasing behind its a ton of work let alone plant numbers are up there clones , vegged plants plants in flower plants going into flower Seems so easy when its actually not as easy as many tend to claim
So lets break this down
you want to pull 2.5 pounds a month in two 5 x 7 tents ???? it will never happen your going to need at least 4 - 5 of these so lets break this down even further you got 8 plants in flower 30 days behind each other to start your cycle of 2.5 a month ( your litterally placing plants in flower every 2 weeks you got room for this ??? this means you need min 96 plants n veg state and 384 clones going in continious cycle that my friend is a ton of work and a ton of plants
I know i did perp trying for 2.5 pounds every 2 - 3 weeks its was a fucking full time job let alone i had no life after 4 months of this i thought this is ridiculous and shut her down rather pull almost 8 pounds in little over 70 days start to harvest with couple week interval in between grows to have a life
Sorry to break it down but thats reality do you have years of experience is there plant count laws cause not only is it stressful get caught with a shit load of clones , vegging plants and plants in flower your going to get nailed hard not to many judges are not going to see this is a grow op and pending on the judge you get even for a first timer you can get mandatoty min 5 - 10 years with out parole
