when i freeze it do i have to put it in a ziploc bag or can in put it directly in the freezer on a plate? After freezing do i still need to dry it?

Directly in the freezer on a plate and yes you need to dry it after freezing and micro planning.

a few days ago i did a batch where i micro planed it and put it in the freezer for about 6 hours but when i took it out to dry it turned really dark. I still have maybe 5 grams of it in the freezer and it looks more like really good wax than bubble hash and im thinking of leaving it in the freezer until it dries completely, but im kinda of worried about it getting freezer burned .My freezer is pretty cold though it sits at roughly 14f and 16% humidity

You do not dry in a freezer, it is hard to evaporate frozen water in a freezer.
You want a temperature in the 50's and humidity in the mid 30's.
Fridge is kind of OK when you do not have a dedicated dry room.

I would have to rephrase my last comment, you can actually dry freeze but you would need more than a freezer for that.
