Med grow in my backyard

Here's a few shots of my lovely ladies.
There Blue Mystic, all 4 of them, in 65 gal. smartpots.
They are being grown organic in super soil and supplemented with indo. bat guano when a boost is necessary. There quite large for the area i'm growing in so they can handle it.
I used less supersoil than i would have liked because of a tight budget, but the sunleaves guano seems to do the trick.

This is my first time posting anything on here in a long while, but i felt i should share these with you guys.

I have many more progression pics of these plants if you guys want to see more..
Enjoy!

Here's some more from when they were vegging.
This is my first time growing Cannabis outdoors and i am more than happy with the results. My old lady and i are both med patients and i could have had up to 12 if i wanted to, but i decided not to push it and just grow 2 plants each.
Could you imagine having 12 of these fat ladies in your backyard.lol.

I took a big chance choosing Blue Mystic for outdoors, as it's an indoor strain, but i managed to stay ahead of the pests....with a lot of vigilance and good luck.

Iv'e been covering them every night with tarps, 2 to a tarp, with two industrial fans totaling 11,000cfm's keeping the air moving.
Without them i fear bud rot and or PM would get a foothold.
They've already been subjected to a few frosts, but the root structures are so big that they dont seem to mind it.

Nice work! :tiphat: How are your neighbors dealing with it?
Actually, up until a few weeks ago i managed to keep them private. there aren't any 2nd floor houses directly around us, and i built the fence as high as i could.
Someone bought the house next door that was vacant for years and of course, the first thing he did was get on the roof.
I'm out there tying limbs back and i look up to see some dude waving at me.
I tried to tell the guy not to jump to conclusions, and that it was a med garden.

What do you guys think happened next.......lol
The following morning i get the knock on the door. It was good in a way though, because i knew the cops would be by at one point or another to check and make sure we were legal.
Now i dont have that nagging feeling, wondering when they were going to come knocking.

They were here for a total of about 4min.
I handed him our cards, he ran us real quick and that was the end of it.

All and all, i really could care less what the neighbors think about it, because they cant do shit about it even if they wanted to.:moon:

But yeah, before the cops showed up, no-one had a clue they were even there.
Thanks, by the way.

I'd be less worried about cops and more worried about heaps of people knowing that "my neighbors have giant pot plants full of bud that's just about ripe for picking".

I'm a legal medical grower too but I don't want some jack booted thugs assaulting me or my family for my medicine.

I wish you the best, those plants looks insanely beautiful.

Major structure work on those girls... nice plants!
Thank you.
Yeah, i'm pleased with how big i was able to get them. Especially as far North as i am.
I started them a little over 2.5mths. indoors, so they were about 3' tall before i put them outside.
I kept them in their 7gal pots for a few weeks then potted them up to 65 gallon smart pots.
I did top most of the branches multiple times 3 or 4 times actually and iv'e been pulling them down below the fence line for months, opening them up for good air exchange at the same time as getting them as bushy as possible.

unfortunately, we have a very short grow season here so next year, i'll be sure to light dep. them early and push them to full potential.

It does look like i'm gonna get lucky though. :dance013: They might actually finish as they finally started swelling a few days ago and i have a little over a week or so before i have no choice but to pull them.
As long as the weather holds out anyways.
Thanks again!

Lol.
I am 100% with you there.
I left out the part where i told the new neighbors, as nicely as possible, that they were now liabilities and to please keep what they saw to themselves, for that very reason.
That's really been my biggest concern the whole time. I have friends that that's happened to and i wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
Iv'e been keeping my eyes and ears open as much as possible though, and i keep my dogs bk there whenever i can.
I was going to put a green motion light on the area, but i figured that might tip off more potential thieves and do more harm than good.
Youl'd have to be a grower to pick up on the green lights, but just being a grower doesn't necessarily mean that you have growers etiquette, or exclude one from being a piece of shit thief.
It sucks that we have to worry about this kind of thing, but i feel you.....
It's constantly on my mind. This last week or so is gonna be nerve racking for sure.
surveillance cameras are reasonably priced now, im going to get a couple for next time.

Thanks for the kind words.

some better shots of the bud structure.
Before the chop, i'm going to get some close-up's and macros. The resin content is much better than expected, even though iv'e been covering them.

all 4 are blue mystic from Nirvana.
its risky because they're prone to mold due to the bud size and density, however, even though its indoor strain its never let me down on yield, flavor, taste, and aroma, so i chose to risk it and run it anyways.
