Mysterious Men Dropping From Helicopters To Chop Down NorCal Marijuana Grows

I just don't get how they can get away with raiding legal grows on private property. They are making it sound like it is all "trespass" grows, but we know that is not the case. So why aren't the wronged suing Lear?
And, yes, why aren't people shooting guys rappelling from helicopters on private property with legal grows, where they have no right being?
At least they should be booby trapping their own property. Perhaps a large pit dug in an open "landing" area that is camoed to look like hard ground. When the copter touches down, bam they are in a hole and the rotors are torn off. This stuff doesn't fly with me, and If I were in that situation, I would do something to fight back.

Nobody knew who it was repelling down. Might have been cops. Shooting cops is generally frowned upon.

'Copters are part of the game. Gotta get used to all of it or none of it.

I always booby trap the property I grow on. If for no other reason, so I know someone is there if I am sleeping.

Of course, not much sleeping at night during the last few weeks of the outdoor season. Up all night, doing things, sleep a few hours each day.

Keep your head down, and no shooting..

I hope they are not lethal booby traps. that will get you in just as much trouble as shooting

Absolutely non lethal, in fact, more for noise to alert me. I knew the property that I worked in MDO like a blind Man. Could do everything with my eyes closed, silently in complete darkness. Literally.

Perhaps make people trip, curse, and maybe break an ankle at worst. Never was a factor though.

Knowing the lay of the land, as well as the animal life plus being direct, but a good neighbor is the best defense I ever had. The "traps" Just made me feel better at night in September. haha.

None of which would help against these Shadow Figures ruining peoples' Summer. It's Fucked. For Many good people, Summer is all they got.

Although I do not think Allman is involved - I am concerned as to why He is not looking into it more. Armed people running around is generally frowned upon. Last I heard. Allman once went on the local KMUD and He told us all that it was good policy to avoid having firearms around a grow. I guess unless it is from Black ops like this..

But I didn't know they were cops. Unmarked chopper, no police jackets on, no badges. I thought they were terrorists coming to do me harm. Self defense.

If cops can shoot & kill Citizens just because they are suspicious that an individual MIGHT be going for a weapon... then we ought to have the very same Rights to defend ourselves when we KNOW we are being threatened with physical violence & possibly death.

Most COPS ARE TERRORIST trained domestically (most, not all) to put you in fear for you well being.
Look at the definition of "terrorist" & tell me they're not.

I'm pretty sure all you Vets took an oath to "protect your country from enemies, both foreign & domestic"

I agree with you MJPassion. A lot of cops are the people who were picked on growing up so the become cops and try to redeem all those years of being bullied.

Many cops are bullies. Many are roided, at least where I live. They are so paranoid of people carrying guns in their vehicles, that every traffic stop has the potential of a confrontation. The last time I was pulled over, I see the male cop getting out of his car and approaching me. Looking at my right side view mirror, I see a female cop in a crouched position, gun drawn, creeping up on the right side of my vehicle. They were fully prepared to kill me for a traffic stop. And cops shoot to kill nowadays. They could easily shoot a person in the leg if they actually thought the subject was a danger. They could use tasers or other non-lethal weapons, but they enjoy shooting people. I really believe that. They are so paranoid for themselves, that their tempers are hair trigger. A number of innocent people have been shot & killed by police where I live. I have witnessed it right outside my own window. They get into a killing frenzy.

This is the oath we took. Anyone can google it. That's what I did:

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

I'm not sure what you meant. The bolded part about the Constitution maybe? If so, wrong assumption.

Anyway that oath is valid only while you are active duty and is taken VERY seriously by those who swear to it. And it's the Constitution, not somebody's land.

But no one is intimating anybody has a right to shoot a cop are they? That's just crazy. And this thread will get shut down quicker than hell if they are.

These aren't cops. These are unknowns, paid mercenaries or possibly rippers. Unmarked choppers. No police/DEA/FBI jackets being worn. No badges being shown. They are trespassing on private property. So what do you do? You have to make your decision in a second. Maybe they are coming to rob and kill you. Do you have a right to defend yourself in this situation?
You are on your own property, conducting a legal grow, so who are these guys and what are their intentions?
No way to know. In a court of law, I think this would be self defense if you shot. You were in fear for your life, against armed intruders.

Like many of us, I distrust all cops. It is my job to outsmart them. Psychological warfare is very effective with knowledge to back it up. It has always been enuf for Me. I see them as the enemy. Anyone who wants the job should not be allowed to perform it.
