Haha, haters gonna hate! Y'all are funny, I assure you it is a gender balanced scene complete with Italian eye candy and many options for your favorite scissors. I actually hate Fiskars or any spring loaded deal as do most of my trimmers.

As for my trim scene, where I live not many folks have been exposed to dry trim. If I was to go any bigger I'd have to make changes for sure. But with me bucking and big-leafing I am keeping my cost at 100$/unit paying by the hour. Read it and weep. And my brothers, we all know that number is the bottom line. Plus I'm done with trim scene pretty quickly. Everybody knows there is a time-crunch with fresh herb. No breaks, no cigarette bullshit. As for quality, I've seen it work both ways. I wouldn't want my Chems being handled dry but when I tested out some Blue Dream, dry trim would work fine. I dunno, works for me.

Oh- yes. Of course I de-stem all the large buds and final trim everything when it's nearly dry...just me and one helper. I still love me the hangers. I can move the days work carrying 20 hangers at a time to the dry room. The way I hang them on the wire I can pull them all off at once when they're ready for the bins.

But you won't sucker me into posting pics of me fucking my wife on the table an hour after that pic. BAM!!!

Enjoy your tarps, 5 gallon buckets, and MASH tents suckas!! LOL.

Rootwise, what are your complaints with spring-loaded? I got my first spring-loaded fiskars this year after dealing with loop-handled scissors for years and tiring of the pain it was putting on my thumb. I laid in bed last night with my forearm spasming for HOURS because of the amount of repetitive stress put on it by trimming, and it's nothing I ever had before these spring-loaded trimmers.

Right on Rootwise. IMHO its nice to have both spring and non spring, i.e. Chikamasa AND Fiskars. Give the muscles a bit of a 'wtf', so they dont get too stiff.

Also want to give my friends a heads up. If you have workers coming and going from your scene everyday, make sure they are bringing and changing into clean, non cannabis smelling clothes before they leave for the day. No leaves stuck on the shoes, none in the hair. Make sure they triple wash their hands, even if they wear gloves. Hopefully they wore gloves lol. Lots of trimmers say they would not snitch, but with enough pressure it wont take much for a lot of them to open their mouth to the pigs. Last thing you want is some worker getting pulled over with resin fingers and fresh weed scent.

Last post in here for a while, as im not playing the BIG plant game this year..hopefully next year.

From my experience, wet trim makes nugs smell like you just mowed your lawn. Without the fan leaves on it drys too fast. I believe that if it doesnt dry out low and slow, then it drys up too fast and locks in the chlorophyll. As the fan leaves dry out, notice how they kinda form a shield around the nug to protect it. I think this is natures version of the low and slow by shielding the nugs from the sun in the day, and the cooler autumn weather at night.

Flip side is we all dry inside without the sun. So we could debate taking fan leaves early or not.

Are those dream tops? I'm noticing that my dream buds seem smaller than last year. This time last year my tops were still white, already most of my hairs have turned. A little disapointed with my dream this year compared to my other strains. Last year they performed much better.

Im noticing the same thing with my dreams this year but Ive had to ration water out to them for the last couple months and Im pretty sure that is my problem. Need to store some rain water this winter.

Pono your plants look great, how many big ones do you have if you dont mind me asking. Also any plans yet for next year, like using certain strains, amendments, feeds/foliars, all 800's, wider spacing etc? Also do you reuse your soil, and if so what do you do with it over the winter? SOrry for all the questions but you know its out of respect!

Looks like its time to change the alcohol in the scissors glass. Do you use ethanol or iso? I lolled when I thought how it might not be wise to leave a bottle of Everclear around the wrong trimmers.

Buds are finally starting to pack on in coco mix, I was a bit worried because the vermifire and roots 707 plants are much more developed. Barely any pistils turning, except for a few plants.

Doing mostly dry trim for best quality, a little wet trimming will be done to save time on drying.

This year we're only going to hand trim the "A" cut and extract the rest. Looking forward to my shortest and easiest trim scene to date.

Also after finishing my Gale Force auto dep house and standing outside in a 34 degree morning on October 2 , I'm seeing first hand just how awesome greenhouses are.
