Where can I find these genetics?

I got some "Bubba Kush" a while back and I completely fell in love with it. Upon trying to find the right seeds I came to the conclusion that it was going to be really hard seeing as there are many spin offs on Bubba Kush as well as just plain old different types of Bubba Kush(Bubba Kush, Pre-98 Bubba Kush, Bubba Kush Katsu Cut, ETC.) Not to mention GHS who does the whole "Bubble Gum X Kush" thing that confuses the hell out of people. Haha. I have found some Bubba Kush pictures that look almost identical to what I fell in love with and I was wondering if anyone could help me narrow down my list of breeders who produce Bubba Kush seeds that may be these specific genetics so I don't have to order and grow out every type of Bubba Kush I can find to finally be reunited with the good ole Bubba I fell in love with. Any help would be greatly appreciated seeing as there are like a million different breeders that do different types of Bubba Kush. If I could find out which type of Bubba Kush this is and which breeders produce these exact genetics that would be so awesome!! I was thinking it was definitely the pre-98 Bubba Kush which I know Apothecary carries, but would it be the same stuff? Below I have attached pictures that I found online that looked very similar to what I had gotten if not almost identical. Help me make my dreams come true. Thanks in advanced!! You guys rock :D

I checked out Verdant Greens work, but I couldn't quite tell if the two types of bubba/mixes I saw would give me the results I am looking for. His genetics look amazing though!! I might give his VGS Fat Bubba F2 a try to see if I can start the search for a phenotype like the one in the pictures above. Thanks for the help! If anyone else skims this & has any other pointers please don't hesitate to chime in!!

I haven't tried VGs beans but those pics appear dead on like the pre 98 cut that I grew.

If I were to try beans I would definitely give Verdant Greens S1s a shot at the winners circle.

What about Peyote Purple from Cannabiogen? One of the best Bubba works I've seen too.

I had the pre-98, got rid of her years ago cuz the yield was poop but damn I miss that dank musty patchouli. That was one that never got me baked tho, just tasted amazing and melted my back pain

I never got patchouli from Bubba Kush...

Chocolate n Coffee but not patchouli.

Never seen patchouli in any description until today.
Are you positive you had a legit cut of the pre 98 Bubba?

I also recall reading a thread somewhere about the possability of the pre 98 Bubba Kush being an old school Oregon Afghani. I'll try to find the link. ;-)

Positive, it had coffee mocha musty ness, patchouli was just what I always took away from it. The slow veg, texture of the buds, and frostiness are unmistakable. Bubba has a very unique bud structure

Bubba to me reminds me kind of walking into an old antique shop. Like old wood furniture, a hint of must with a hint of dust and years of furniture polish. I guess it could have hints of chocolate, but not like fresh ground coffee, maybe the deep richness of brewed coffee.

The pre98 can yield like a mofo, but it needs a long veg. I always veg mine for a few months minimum. Its an easy one to grow so I just let it sit in the corner of my veg area til its a few feet tall.

Well I can't argue much about aromas since I feel like I have a difficult time w em myself.

Coffee was like "lite brewed" for me.

Also... I found the link but it's from another site (BB) so don't want a TOU violation today. lol
Search "Pre 98 Bubba = Oregon Afghani"

I looked up what you referenced there.

To corroborate your link with some things I have read a while back there is an interesting thread on another website google "the butcher pride rainbow kush" where this guy has some interesting insights on Bubba Kush. He calls it pre 96, which 1996 is also mentioned in the link you were talking about.

I feel that one thing we can say for sure is what ever it is it is an inbred line, because it s1 and breeds very true.

I wish the pics were still working in that thread you were talking about.

lol, ive described the smell as 'almost like patchouli or vetiver' before. its kind of one of those smells that is similar to many things but hard to place exactly. I can understand why people say coffee too but its not exactly like coffee either imo.

anyway i sent the last packs to seedbay a few weeks ago, they sold out but there were quite a few and im cetain there will be some re-lists in a few weeks or so, i will try to get a head up from clarence when he is going to re-list them.
i should have a fresh batch too around new year.

fwiw i agree that sour bubble is close to bubba, but not the same. i used a sour bubble male as the outcross for my fat bubba line which eventually will hopefully be a bubba ibl.
