Topsy Turvy Fridge Grow/Clone Box

I just walked back to the room to check that the weight isn't too much and I coulda swore I saw those plants curling those weights… saying... "1oz ain't shit"… "Where's those 3oz surf fishin pyramid weights? We ain't no pussy plants"

Then I remembered, I just took a GOOD bong rip….. :joint:

looking good fw! i have not run hydro for over 20 years ( i just like the feel and taste of dirt grow) but i think your sched will work fine and not be too wet. you may want to ease back on nutes till they get settled in to prevent root burn but someone with more and more recent hydro setup experience may chime in. the weights are an interesting approach i just use bondage to train, miss-judge a weight and a broken node is my fear but looks like you are dialing it in. have you fired up the lights and run temp checks in the fridge yet?

I was a little nervous to look at the plants this AM, but they are doing fine!
The tips of the weighted branches have turned towards the light, even with the lights off last night.

Thanks atk7,
I have done a heat test.
On a fairly warm day here in Fla, I had the lights and fans on for about an hour and the temps were 82-84 F.
Nice thing is, I could lay my hand on the DIY cool tube !
Thankfully we are heading into cooler weather.

OK… the Dwarf might just be a player in this game !
Look at the 2 tops how much they popped in just 2 days.
It's getting real bushy underneath too.

Hey fishy, how are you planning to move them? The roots look all mixed, any chance you might have to trim them a lil to get the 4 plants separated?

i wouldn't wait much longer to move them. i hope the transfer from dwc to hydro rocks is smooth. do not under estimate the stretch on the AH.

he should still be able to jiggle the roots apart while they are underwater. but it's a good point, it's another reason to move them, those roots are gonna start getting interwoven more and more

They are pretty mixed, but I had them apart a week ago or so.
I believe if done in water, they can be MOSTLY separated with some gentle pulling and helping with a wooden skewer or tongue depressor.
I am sure that some will break but they will come right back.

I have no alternative but to wait till I get back next Wed to transplant.
My son is gonna watch over the care & feeding of them while I am gone but I just gotta be here for the first few days after the move to check on them several times a day.

Dang… I feel like these are my children or something….

This will be my last post for a week (at least with pics).
Going out of town today, will return mid weekish….
