Meals made with cannabis?

I think a guy with High Times (Chef RA maybe?) did this. Anyone know any recipes of actual real main meal dishes made with cannnabis? Preferably fan leaf, as I can do other things with sugar trim and popcorn. I have diabetes and all these edibles seem to be sweet. Would prefer to infuse it in a real meal anyway. thanks in advance!

Hey Space Toker I would imagine that some cannabis infused coconut oil could be used to fry just about anything you care to eat, from a breakfast egg to a piece of ham.

Rasta Pasta is a good one. A green pesto type concoction. Don't know how good pasta is for diabetics.
I use coconut milk sometimes. Make a curry and use the milk to extract the THC from the leaf. Works good for any Thai or Indian dish especially ones with basil. They taste similar.
Ganja and sweet marry well together. Even in a curry I put in a little palm sugar. I'm sure as a diabetic you have substitutes.
Ghee is clarified butter, basically the same thing as ganja butter. You can fry onions, potatoes, or garlic in it. Used in a multitude of East Indian cuisine.

I like the idea of Ghee. Yeah pasta is not encouraged (but still have it often enough) and anything with coconut usually makes me sick to my stomach... never knew moderation... gorged on the stuff as a kid one night when with the southerner "uncle", got sick to my stomach and could never stand even an atom of it ever since! Any other oils work? otherwise, ghee for me! :D

Fan leaf can be quite spicy.

Chop and mix your leaf with a bit of myrrh gum oil. Myrrh gum is very bitter yet it counteracts the spicy bite of the cannabinoids.

You're welcome :)

Having some good clarified butter on hand makes it easy to infuse any meal with cannabis. In the morning eggs and toast, then dinner anything from buttered potatoes and corn to anything at all that normally has butter works great. Almond oil, olive oil, bacon fat etc all work well as a conveyance for cannabis.

Dry sift keif is the easiest to use for me... I made lots of stuff with it, cuz you can just add it to your flower, stuff like bread, pancakes, brownies, pasta, I love my pasta... but I dont think it good for Diabetics.

this is one of my favs but it will work with any flower based foods

Cannabis infused bacon fat is my favorite. :) Bacon makes everything better. Butter and coconut oil work the same way. Just add some to whatever you're cooking.

I don't cook elaborate weed recipes much anymore, since it's easier to keep it simple. Capsules are simple as a fixed dose. Ethanol tinctures are flexible with the doses. Just count the drops (or dropperfuls) to get a predictable amount of hash oil. Tinctures are flexible in that you can add them to a drink or a meal recipe. The alcohol boils off right away if you cook with it.

I prefer extracting hash oil with 99% isopropanol and dissolving the oil in Everclear 190. It tastes better that way compared to extractions done with ethanol.

I got my hands on 20 lbs of King crab Sunday and did up a batch of red pepper butter to dunk those killer crab chunks into, whole party was full and never made it to the late football game lol. Yum!!

How much kief? Do you weigh it or just eyeball it? My tolerance is so low right now, this sounds like a recipe for an unplanned nap. :) It wouldn't take much for me.
