I don't know about the pellets themselves, but if you feed the pellets to your fish, and then use the water (which is full of their poop/pee) on your girls they will love it.

Ive not used fish pellets, but have use alfalfa pellets for bunnies, which are mostly timothy hay and alfalfa. I use them mostly to improve and condition my outdoor plots. They are a slow nutrient release. I would imagine fish food pellts would be a good plant fertilizer Most commercial fish pellets consist of fishmeal, vegetable proteins and wheat as a binding agent. However I would recommend using them in conjunction with other ferts to supply a wider range of micro and macro nutrients.
