Switching during grow

My question is can I Switch out my 400W MH/HPS for an led system during the veg cycle and not see any damage?

I just ordered a MARS II 400w 80*5 LED light.

The plant is 5 weeks old from seedling tomorrow, growing amazing, gonna veg another two weeks probably, and then switch.

Also moving to a smaller location ( place its in now isnt ideal grow )

Which is why I went LED because of heat issues.

Well there was a back order on lights. I get it tomorrow. So I can keep you posted still running the 400w mh, I did move it to a smaller confined space and she loves it! Have a grow journal in hydro forums if wanna check it out

I'm curious as well because I'm going from led in veg to HP's flower. Only because I flower in a shed so its easier in the winter to keep it warm.

Hey there, I am in my second day running led from 400w mh. Using a 96*3 led. She loves it. Perked right up and no heat problems. At all it's about 7 degrees cooler which puts me at 71 degrees.

I'll check it out, I just got 8 of the xte 100 and they love the light more than my 1000watt hps. Running 4 of the xte in a 4x4 tent their is a 1 degree difference, and those are 5watt LEDs.

Jeez 8? Lol I'm running one 96*3 in 28"x28" room. If you check out my update pics. Just in two days she's loving it!!! He grew over an inch in one day.

Ah, Im prob gonna order another one. Since my room is actually rectangle, and I only gave 65" of light I rather run 3w instead of upgrade to 5w. Give me some more room to grow since can keep light closer

Yeah I would stick to the same wattage. Do you keep all blue for veg? The guys at advanced told me to run blue and red.

My light has blue/red/white. And has a button for bloom, kicks on more red spectrum.
