the only traits ive noticed is more dankness.. it mixxes well with others,, if you think about mixing smells and tastes then youl have a better understanding of what might come of it.. everything i have popped from my mvtf male as the breedstock, has been amazing..ive mixed it with everything i have grown ,it keeps the strong thick growth ..i had mvtf x purple indicas,, that smelled like you had mvtf and pi side by side in each nostril.... it kept hte huge yeilds of the mvtf side of things.. it was like giving the tiny little pi biger frame to put out more sticky..chem or any of the newest kush hype dont stand up tp it.. ill always reach for the MVTF... yes many are labeled as such but im only talking about my MVTF ...not the 100 other bs cuttings ive seen or smoked..

This is good news. I am glad you have had good results with her. Making me think twice about dusting this girl with some kinda pollen. Maybe F13 or some other fruity or colorful strain. I do know that nothing in my garden is comparing to the yield on this girl. I have had to tie the branches up three times since first bloom. Still has two weeks to go. 60 days right?

The "Tang" smell is definitely there. Even though I am not partial to it, I do like the look of the buds and if she smokes well, I might learn to like that smell.

like wild spearmint herbally florally uniqueness. like i was saying about my theory on mvtf. if u look at localities, northern alaskas version of atf they describe as an orangey "tang" flavor. sagmartha seeds sescribes his mvtf clone as chocolatey, and my buddy who is an actual enuit describes it as a funky florally wild taste.

i wish i had a bill and ted time traveling phone booth to go back and settle this argument and get the origional origional origional origional clone lol. till then im going with my buddys definition as he was a fisherman there for over 20 years

I have had some great MTF in the past. Nice colors and flavors, but the zips I was getting for a while lacked density big time. I think it was a growers error however, but either way, it was fantastic smoke!

My thoughts on matanuska is if it is a particular strain and not just a name for good bud from the valley, the seeds for it were brought to Alaska from the states, meaning the chances are someone gave the seeds to the guy who brought it to the valley and was growing it as mtf. And that means if it was/is that good then those seeds were probably given or sold to other people, and I would bet its a strain floating around somewhere today we just don't know it as mtf. Now besides that a friends grandfather, a heavy smoker said he use to get mtf all the time back in the day when he was mining in Alaska he's a lot older now but the first thing he said when he smoked dr greenthumbs mtf that it reminded him of Mtf and we didn't even tell him the name, he just wanted to smoke so we smoked him up and he told us about the mtf he used to smoke and how similar it was, now you can take that with a grain of salt because he was 86 years old at the time, anyway our boy that grew it said what we were smoking was his keeper out of three packs of dr greenthumbs mtf, he said they were all were very much sativa now after smoking it we were just ripped, so it was hard to tell if the high felt more sativa, tbh the cerebral high hit me like a ton of bricks but it had some nice body to it too like there was some indica floating around in its lineage. Anyway most of docs strains are what he claims they are, actually everything I've had from him represented the parents to the fullest, like the train, ghost og, cheese, bubba katsu, ECSD, c99 etc..

. The hands down best i ever smoked was ATF from alaska back in '91 when i was living in indiana. When my friend showed it to me it looked like a cotton ball with hairs, was the single most crystaly stuff ive seen even to this day. As i remember it was small looser bud very sativa like, and the high was like nothing i have found since. Soaring near acid like high and I was doing alot of acid at that time in my life, and the day i smoked that ATF i think i found Jah/Goddess/God.... That high and that cotton ball of crystal is what i search for to this day, like the holy grail.

This is the best explaination of what it looked like with alot of red hairs.
I also had a sample of MVTF sent my way some years ago and it came from someone in Indiana. So many you could give it a hair cut. Was very sativa. Believe the origins are Durban crossed with something else by someone in alaska. Remember reading about it years ago. If yours is indica then probably not MVTF.

Here is Thunderluv! from Pacific Wonderland seeds. Its MTF X Soma's Lavender. She is quite exceptional, tests at 20 -24% THC and has some measurable CBD's! Smells like berries and Thunderfuck.

anyone working with matanuska mist? (mvtf x the grey area's "the mist") it was all the rage here about ten years ago, now i cant find it at all.shame because it was really nice daytime smoke, helps with pain and also anxiety and the closr the pheno is to mvt the better. id love to have a true mvtf an she how she does down here in northern cali!
