BostonLights Breeder Diaries

This diary is here to document my hobby breeding projects. I am based out of the north east and am currently working with a couple other local breeders on some collaborative efforts as well as my own personal crosses to come. There's alot of great stuff coming out of the west coast right now and I feel like the east coast needs to represent..... enough of my ranting. A couple months ago an old friend gave me some afghani seeds from so long ago he couldn't remember. This was an old Vietnam vet and he told me it was some pure afghani. Only one of the three beans popped and it was a male ( which I was insanely happy that it was.) This plant grows like a landrace indica all the way, short stout structure with this very strong skunky/acrid smell. That's the stud for our next crosses. We are currently growing out 2 ajs sour d females, 1 cherry pie purple pheno female. I plan on hitting the lower buds of each female with the afghani pollen. And of course we have clone backups of each parent plant in a separate room for posterity. I will upload the pictures of all of this tomorrow when I get back home. Hope to drag some of the great breeders on this forum to help me out through this learning curve that we call breeding, peace

We have some more stuff in our library that we will be doing crosses with in the future. We have a beautiful male cherry pie Sativa pheno that we've taken clones of of, we also have the elusive blood diamond, dont know whether it's male or female yet, it's still a seedling

We have a project that's in the works now to work with local breeders and local strains with the aim to create a unique east coast strain that will focus less on yield and more on high type, smell, appearance. More of trying to satisfy our own head if you know what I mean
