You read it right. This is my first real outdoor grow. im at latitude 44 N.

My strains are wonder woman, master kush, and ak-48.
all from nirvana seeds.

the wonder woman plants have very small buds they look like they have only been flowering a week. there is only one master kush that has decent looking buds but nothing that i believe is up to par with other plants i have seen at this time of year. the ak-48s literally have nothing but preflowers.

as the days get shorter i cannot help but wonder why this has happened, it looks like i may be getting nothing this growing season. the weather is getting increasingly worse and i can only hope i end up with something.

the only thing that i think could have possibly caused this, could possibly be that i force flowered them when they were small to show their sex so i only planted females at the beginning of the season. could this have caused stunted vegetation, which slowed down flowering? could i have possibly just picked the wrong strains for my climate?

If anybody has any insight to what has happened, please let me know. i can provide pictures if necessary

Just pull up your socks man it will be ok!! You have good strains i have tested them befor, nirvana is solid gear dont worry about mould. They have another month to go thats a lot of time for them to flower.Dont cut them early thats the biggest mistake you can make.

not sure where you are, but in the UK we dont get 12/12 dark light until the end of september.

some strains will start to flower under longer light durations but others wont. using 'early' genetics that start to flower readily can be the key.

any other light source like streetlamps may also slow them down

they tend to speed up flowering pretty quick as the days get shorter though so you may be ok

Next time get your outdoor genetics from RCMC out of Canada. They have great early strains that will finish in time for your latitude.

My best was Lowryder and there is a new Lowryder 2 and crosses...PM me if you need a list of cold climate growers.

You may need more posts before you can PM I think.
