If this sour bubble turns out to be male, guess what im doing with it? I could make enough seeds of a Blue Satellite x Sour Bubble to last a lifetime.

Would you call it Sour Satellite or Blue Bubble though lol...

Never done any breeding before, would love to chuck some pollen though! this combination might be something special too :dance013:

I actually hope (and think) the bubble is a girl though so moot point. I will know for sure next week or 2 id say.

Yeah if 40Amps puts some of those Satellite Fuel seeds up for sale when he's ready i would definitely buy a pack or 2, theres some great genetics to be found there imo.

Peace

I still can't drag pics into the post how do i do it if they're saved in your albums??

Anyway there we go theres some small pics i couldnt make them larger sorry.. Enjoy!

I don't know why I cant enlarge those pics, the one u posted on the bottom, I can enlarge:thinking:

But from wat I see, looks nice. Are u in soil?? What are u running(nutes, SuperSoil?)

Sorry for those small photos i deleted the originals now can't modify them blah blah blah..

THe pics really do the plants no justice its been a fantastic strain for me in every regard except like i said lacking in the flavour department a little bit. I would love to taste it though after a 6-8 week cure unfortunately never lasts that long. Give it 2-3 weeks in the jars though and it will improve a bunch. Thanks SOL!

Oh and btw the buds are dense as fuck they pack some serious weight i had quite a few colas weigh in at around 14-18g each fully dry.

Peace

When you say 2-3 weeks in the jar, u mean after burping for 2weeks, close the lid, and leave it alone for about 2-3 weeks,(or preferably longer W/O burping), correct?

The bad thing is if my hopes work out, itll be a very dense strain(BS 2.2) crossed with another very dense strain(Chunky Chocolate). This could be an issue!

Same here.. Figured I can try, worst case scenario... I get some free seeds

When you say Sour Bubble, u mean BOG's??? That how I got these BS 2.2 I went on SB. I went there looking at BOGs gear, but started reading about the breeders I got, and seemed like pretty positive feedback, about them

I really saw it was $100+ and I'm tired of paying close to $100 a 10 pk, and not finding anything special! So I decide to pay a lil less, when I saw all the reviews these breeders got. I plan on picking up some of BOGs Sour Lifesaver, sometime soon tho...

btw, from wat I can see from the pics, the looked nice, and the veg pic looked very lush

Oh yea... How About Sour Blue for urs!!! Lol

Im in soil man i keep it simple as. Run an organic soil mix with worm castings, blood & bone, dolomite lime, neem powder and a few other local goodies i add in. Pretty much just use guano for flower plus some molasses and add some Mg (epsom salts) in flower also. Flush with plain water last 2 weeks, basic as bro works perfect every time.

As far as curing oh yeah of course i burp the jars i just didnt go into any detail about it. Prettymuch just follow Simons sticky on curing although now i barely even use hygrometers anymore i just know whats going to happen with this strain that the benefit of doing multiple runs u can really get it dialled in..

And yep i meant BOGs sour bubble got 2 packs of that plus 1 pack of his sour strawberry kush.

Best of luck with your grows 311

BS 2.2 was surprisingly stable and robust. Smell/flavor was great, and a consistent strain. The stone was *somewhat* lacking, but I was never disappointed with it. I think it would make outstanding breeding material.

a bump for this thread.

grew out a couple some months back, wound up with 2 keepers one of which didn't make the reveg. That 1 also happened to be the bigger yielder.

Both phenos had a wonderful berry which was especially tasted on the exhale. Very cool and tasty exhale and a good buzz.

The remaining pheno is a sat dom. blood red stems and the more tasty
one.

I found that the taste was enhanced after a month in a jar ( not that it lasted longer than that. ) and both where very frosty.

Looking forward to this when it finishes, still in veg for another cpl of weeks ( under 12-1 lighting now ).

Two slight problems I encountered was was hard to clone and mag hungry, especially the sat dom pheno. Anyone else notice the mag def with this strain or have difficulty cloning ?

I like this strain, very tasty good smell and the cured bud has a blueish gray tinge to it: and ==> it's frosty too !https://www.icmag.com/ic/images/smilies/smile.gif

Haven't been on here for a while... Germed 3 beans, 2 popped, both females... 2 phenos. 1 wrinkle leaf mutant, figuring Blue Berry, and another... Both incredible aroma..... Last few weeks of flowering.... Try to be back with update... Peace

I have three nearly finished BS 2.2 plants.

For those who have nabbed some already, I would appreciate knowing more about your harvest window.

Yesterday, September 1 I observe all trichs are cloudy, and there is a mild sprinkling of amber...maybe 5-10%.

One is tall, seven feet, one about six feet, and one four footer with magenta pistils...

Advise please!

i just finished a grow of bs2.2, had three female. one was a mutant runt . finished first at 8 weeks, smallest one. second smallest was a winner. super frosty, smelled like sweet melons or fruit. lower yield than the larger plant but way better bud. i had massive heat problems through out late flowering so yields were not good on anything but all my bluesats resisted fluffing their nugs even at 100 plus degrees. got nice dense buds. super easy to grow, easily resists overfeeding, doesnt get hungry too fast. a very forgiving plant and if you can find a winner its worth running again. my highest yielder got cloned, it took much longer than the melon pheno to cure away the grassy smell, so i didnt like it much, but friends who got some loved the high. i asked for more freebies with my last pack and got em, but they all died :(

OreoGrows, did you have blood red stems & stalks ?

Everyone I have tossed a fatty to has commented on the quality and taste, although this time the strong berry taste is not as prominent .

First run I had a male that auto flowered just after the 12/12 shift IIRC,
thought it may have been a hermi, very Sat Dom long internodes thin leaves. should have kept it to cross with my Lapis from .

My big yielder would not reveg either. No mag probs but I use cal mag religiously.

Just harvested 3 phenos of BS 2.2 earlier this month. One worth another shot and 2 that were not of interest. Awesome blueberry smell in flower which translates to very little taste in each pheno. Hopefully some cure will help but all in all I'd choose a different strain.

I have a chocolate chunk in veg right now. After a poor overall germination rate from the pack, I managed to get one survivor that is now going strong. Looks to be very indica sided with large broad leaves. I hope it has some nice chocolate smells or tastes.

A couple of the comments on the Satellite 2.2 about them smelling like coconut/ pineapple or Malibu sounds exciting! The photos certainly don't look bad either.

I grew out my BS2.2 freebies and got 3 females. The plants looked great but I did not care for any of them. All three of my plants had a very grapefruit smell but the taste just wasn't there. I have no doubt there are better phenotypes in BS2.2 than I was able to find in 5 seeds.
