lemon paint never heard that one before  should be good :good:

eheh something like lemony paint cleaner... but there's a lot of sweet chemmy rose in her, that was the main aroma with her mum when cured ;) thanks for your comment man, i saw some epic bud shot from you in the free your budshot thread! :respect:

nice man. and BOG's stuff makes the epic budshots pretty easy :p

Eheh i'm sure your skills as a grower and photographer did the trick! ;)
Great stuff from BOG... One of these breeders i always wanted to try but never did... Which one would you recommend?

hey fellows,
i haven't updated this thread for a while...
biggest news lately is that i realized i had some soil parasites i still have to fully recognize. i think they are what a lot people refers to root or soil aphids. i am not sure how bad they harmed my plants: some of them showed some issues that could be identified with some cal-mag def but could also be heat stress related (up until 1-2 weeks ago we had summer temps here...), some others were healty. i saw some very small animals crawling inside the soil. some of them white, some others black. after observation it was clear they preferred a wet climate. after watering i would see a couple of them in the catch tray under the pot, literally jumping in the ran-off water. these are the white ones running on a side of a tray...

this is the plant that showed the biggest sign of stress, lavender from cbd. at first i thought it was cal-mag def. but it kept showing; that was when i thought something else was going on... at the time i took these pics i already knew they were root or soil aphids...

i also saw some fungus gnats flying around. at first i wasn't sure they were gnats, it hought some of them could be winged root aphids, but then i placed some yellow sticky traps and only found dead gnats. at the same time i cleaned everything. removed the plants and bleached every growing space, every tray, every pot. and treated all plants (both veg. and flow.) with botanigard, a product based on the beauveria bassiana fungi, very effective with this kind of infestation, via waterings. now, after about 3 weeks things are going a better. i harvested the lavender and she is very nice. really smelly of a pungent skunky lavender aroma and peach. :) i saw aphids only in one plant's soil after the threatment and, besides some dead gnats on the traps, i don't see anything flying around the plants. today i spotted some thrips in some seedlings (3 or 4 out of 16) i have. just few distinctive signs on leaves but i saw some adults and sprayed every plant in the veg space with a neem oil solution (1 ml/l). now i have a doubt that those withe animals i saw crawling in the soil were thrips? but that would not explain why i saw no thrips sign nor a single adult on the plants where i first found these soil insects. luckily i haven't seen a single thrip or thrips related signs on any of the flowering plants. so i probably had root aphids and now thrips, damn!

of course there are good news too. :) i scored 100% with 16 bodhi seeds and i now have 5 x Goji OG and 11 x Mother's Milk, hooray! :) thrips apart, they are healty and (slowly) vegging under 12/1 fluorescent lights.
Goji OG (Nepali OG x Snow Lotus)

Mother's Milk (Nepali OG x Applachia)

i can't wait to see an interesting nepali og match: snow lotus vs. appalachia. ;-) first i have to kill all thrips! arh arh arh! :-D

another thing i tryed to do differently is the drying process. i bought a nice dehumidifier and i tryed to do a fast dry at 45-50% rh. with these values it only took 4 days to dry a lavender plant. i must say it has worked great for me! i only have to understand how strong to set the dehu in relation to weather conditions: i did several tryouts while buds were drying and i kept them drying a night too much (when rh reached 35%) and overdryed a little. but the smell is really great and powerfull: when i open the jar an overwhelming lavender and peach (unexpected) aroma gets me; i felt i was loosing terpenes with a long dry (2 weeks in humid periods...). now after 2 weeks of cure, buds taste great. i must say i use the vaporizer a lot these days, but i still smoke joints (and i've been a pure ganja smoker for almost 3 months now, i'm so happy! no more tobacco for Libeccio).

enough talking i have some goodies to show. :)
sweet tai #1 sweet skunky odour - not very special but nice resin and vigour! 29 days flowering

sweet tai #2 - smaller with less vigour, but with a nicer stronger smell - very spicey of curry or something like that... 33 days flowering

cheech wizard F2 elprincipeCut. very strange plant. bananas (sterile), weird grow pattern, taco leaves. but the aroma is something really special. piney milky funk. greencurry og leaning. wild! she's small but has buds in most places. she's drooping back for the buds' weight, and as expected she's turning pinkish a little... 49 days

x-dog. she's really sativa! chem odours on the sweet side. 62 days flowering and she will need another 15/20 i think.

buddha tahoe og. i'm doing a test, just for fun: one clone with mystandard biobizz schedule (light), another only with water and molasses. i'm not satisfied with biobizz anymore, i'll try something else soon (i think biocanna and/or Advanced nutrients)... when my wallet allows me to! :-D

i've been dabbing for more than i month and i love it! another reason i'm smoking a lot less (and vaping more). got this nice bubbler with a titanium nail... i must say i am really enjoying my oil this way... very clean sweet honeish taste and a very powerful energizing-uplifting high!

i did some nice Ice Balls recently... i am dabbing my ice as well eheh. here they are... the balls! gotta love 'em! comes from a mixed outdoor trim of some of my clones grown by friends... sweet piney-floral-balsamic taste :)

hey people, what's up? just some nugs from my hole...

i am in a transition with ferts. i am not satisfied with biobizz anymore, i'll get something else soon... i'll probably get some biocanna and/or advanced nuntrients (nirvana, diamond magic). meanwhile, i am using very little ferts, just for fun. i would like to know how much biobizz ferts influence the taste.

so, sweet tai #1 - skunkish, leaning towards the skunk side of the cross. but a really nice plant anyways. she got molasses, cannazym and some algamic and didn't really ask for more. :) 42 days

sweet tai #2 - spicey and sweet, really nice aromas. kept a cut :)

buddha tahoe og. i love it! pine, milkish pine. this cut is growig with no ferts, just some molasses and enzyms... i am doing a test! ;-)

the other buddha tahoe og which is growing with a light biobizz schedule, lighter than i usually do. we'll see how it compares with the no fert clone ;)

ciao!

this is a great thread. Sorry I am so late for the show. You had better luck with your shit beans than I did. Unfortunately mine hermied..Indoors and outdoors. I still love Shanti's strains though. His La Nina was delicious.
I also grew Chimeras GF x BB and his C+. Can't go wrong with the GF x BB. I always wanted to try Mental floss too. Apparently it is one of Chimeras personal favorites :)
He has a bunch of new stuff out too.
Those Og's are going to take over your tent..I always said it wouldn't happen to me. ( I love diesels) but the highs and flavors are hard to resist :) I now have half my flower space in Tahoe, Sfv, and Poison Og...lol.. Anyway great oil shots too.I only do ice water extraction but my friends make bho. I gave my friend 100 gms of really good outdoor trim and bud. He got me 10 gms of bho from it..I look forward to more of your work..much thx
