New Panels Designed by an MJ Grower

The present for LED panels looks very bright indeed

90%+ of the leds being sold to mj growers are not specifically designed for us, including the BML SPYDR 600 I completed a grow with and am finishing a reveg with and will be bringing a new plant to harvest

To date, BML does not offer an exclusive MJ panel/s

The difference between the S600 I am using and other led panels is: I got to choose the spectrums (95% white). While I am truly happy with the results to date, there are a number of compromises due to their current design. A major limitation being that all bars must be on 100%, all the time.

This means more red in veg than I want and more blue in flower than I want, but the results to date are pretty damned good. BML SPYDR 600 is ~ 350w $999

One critic responded to my thread in another grow site.

Turns out he was developing panels exclusively for mj growers. He too understood that primarily white leds + reds for flowering is the current SOTA

He was fed up with the various chinese panels he bought, which either broke, or way under performed

Fortunately for us, he had the $$$ and brains to design and produce his own MJ panels.

Over the course of months of correspondence, I am now one of his official testers

His company is Amare Technologies.

WWW not yet up and running, but I received 2 of his panels Thursday - a 100w ($295) and a 260w ($745) *Discounts for multiple panel purchases

I immediately replaced a couple of white ufos (~ 100w) I was using to start seedlings and clones with the SS 100. The clones languished under the ufos, but like the plants, they too have responded extremely well to the more intense light

I have a grow thread in the Hydro section. Hydro is much easier than people realize, especially with my super simple DIY Mini-Me F & D system.

Hydro is capable of out performing any other medium by quite a lot. The smaller your space the more beneficial hydro is. If you've ever considered hydro, check it out

All Amare panels are designed to be piggybacked electrically. This allows for buying them as $$$ permits and connecting together

FYI Amare is sending me 2 SS 150s to fill out my 2 x 4 starter/clone tent

Ok, time for some pictures under the SS 100...

The first picture was pre SS 100
