What stage of life are your plants in? If you plan on flowering soon I'd lower the screen. I am no expert but I've done a few SCROGS. In the first 14 days or so of bloom you should cut off everything below the screen, allowing the plant to focus its growth on the tops.
I set my screen on the ladies 3 days before I flipped them and weave them through the trellis during the stretch period.

Is there any advantage to keeping the screen where it is? It would just take longer for them to reach it..

its should be about 8-12 inches above the container from what I've read and there's a good tutorial http://www.growweedeasy.com/lbh-scrog-tutorial
I would also add that you should paint the wood below the airpots with some Killz and then some exterior paint so you don't get any mold growth which could devastate a scrog quickly. couldn't hurt since you're still in build mode and the boards are crisp and new.

yeah i would lower the screen, you only need enough room to get your hand in between pot and screen.
as for the wood, ive been using intreated wood as screens for years and never had a problem, wood has natural anteseptic qualities.
next time i would also use bigger pots - bigger pots = bigger plants

But I got the biggest Airpot available - 30 liters. I'm actually worried that they're too big.
That's 2x 30 liters under a 145x85cm screen.
I'll lower the screen tomorrow.

YOu may be better off not using the screen yet.....
to instead flatten the plant by pulling the taller parts down.......
However Im not sure I would like your plants in a scrog.....
You need some branches to fill out a screen..... Im unsure but that plant may not be like that....... As you say..... bushy..... too bushy.....
I grow in 5 gallon buckets and drill a bunch of holes around the rim...using plastic cloths pins an wire I flatten the plant.....
when its of sufficient size I move the screen over the plant and release the training on the buckets.....

lol thanks, its hard to get the scale from the photo
no such thing as too big though as long as you water correctly. when you start bending the tops under the screen it should get the shorter branches growing up a bit too.

No, I'm serious. I'm really worried about the size.
Up until now, I've had the plants in 4.5 Gallon containers and they reached 120cm. So, these 9 Gallon containers.. that's 240cm!
And my ceiling is only 250cm..
This scrog is my only option..
yes , the 'height' will translate to horizontal filling of the screen. i use 4.5 gallon pots in a cab about a metre high, you will be fine.

Raise your lights as to stretch plant upwards,, what light schedule you using ????
and you could also start some pruning of lower part of plant if your limited to height then i would suggest getting coat hangers and start training plant side ways
IMO the plant needs to be taller as well as table this way when she is in flower your able to remove sucker buds and all lower growth as well as feed plant

You used string which is quite tedious to work with...
As I said I use wire(telephone wire) and plastic clothes pins(walmart)
I dont actually fasten the wire to the containers... I just make a sharp bend in the wire and it stays good enough..... the knots are a pain to tie......
The other thing is.... now that your screen isnt busy..... you should seriously consider remaking the screen....or at least redo the legs so you can move the screen up and down by using the legs.....

I'm curious as to why you would want the scrog to move up and down? I'm about to build my scrog screen and planned on attaching it permanently to the frame of my 4x4 fabric bed. what are some advantages of letting it be adjustable?
if you're going to lst the plant under the screen then you would be better to not bother with the screen at all. scrog should take the place of lst. thats what the screen is for.

it doesnt look like a very vigorous growing plant, and you are wasting a whole lot of growth under the screen which would be better off above the lowered screen.
i do modular scrog (where a screen is fitted to each pot) but you can see the kind of height my screen is
you want a plenty of growth above the screen so you can get nice tall colas and high yeilds. the cab is 60 x 70 cm
if you want to do some research then check out some of my grow diaries or some of the other scroggers on ic like Dr Fever
