need a little advice Karma Biker kush v2.0

Ok....this one is for you guys that have seen and experience this no guessing please. ... plants are in 1gal bags 25% happy frog soil and 75% canna coco basically only eating from the soil. They're 4 weeks from sprout, nice, big and healthy ...for the most part. until they started showing a discoloration on the leaves now my first thought was MAG....not...CAL so after 6 days of getting nowhere thought I would ask you guys to take a shot at the fix . these are very important to my grow. Please help

wow, hopefully someone with more experience will chime in but it definitely looks like a Mg deficiency.

Water with 1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp of epsom salt to fix deficiency would be my guess.

again - hopefully someone with more experience will chime in, gl.

http://www.ilovegrowingmarijuana.com/nutrient-deficiency-magnesium/

not the best site but they recommend 1 tsp of Epsom salt - someone said "recommending a tsp of Epsom salt is not cool hombre" so I'm not sure.

Give em 1/2 tsp of epsom salt.

put 1/2 a tsp of epsom salt in a gallon of water, ph it to 6.0 to be on the safe side..you have coco and peat moss...i do 5.8 in coco and 6.5 in peat...anyhow, that should fix the Mg deff.

1/2 tsp epsom salt in gallon of water, ph to 6.0

Thanks cloudy, sure hope this is the fix.... going to water in tonight sprayed them last night and it may be best if I go ahead and send them to flower so I can sex them. ..that way I can get what girls that im going to have and concentrate on savings my girls

i would aslo say that calmag at 1 mil art first per gal may help.
also ga recomended a 1/4 teaspoon per gallon fish emulsion.
i have that look on a few of my bikers that went into flower a little and stopped growing but i hadnt quite noticed so my feed was too strong after being just right. the leaves got really lweathery and so dark green they were almost black. they are starting to grow again and the color is fading to a normal look and the curl and wrinkle is less pronouncecd in the new growth. at first i tried to correct with a non nitrate cal foliar. it seem to either not help or maybe made it worse.
if i had it to do over i would do the mag instead with epsom salt.
they are growing out of it as the reversing is progressing.

Hey... thank you str8...someone else who had this experience with biker I hope it clears up soon I getting very concerned at this point I have big plans for these plants hope it gets easier to grow

yours may just be getting hungry thats not much food.
Hey str8edge...... that's true its not that much food, but there was no yellowing of the lower leaves, the healthy 3 all have a nice dark green color so what im going to do is start feeding them a modest amounts and see what reaction they give. Got to be careful happy frog soil can be hot. Going to keep a close eye on them...... Thanks for the help str8edge.

truth is i didnt know that. i have never used happy frog. maybe that makes some sense. it does have an overfed look. i just wondered about that crinkle curl being a deficiency thing but those can come from overfeeding and often do. good eye on your plants needs. i know this strain is reported by three folks i know of to be a bit of a bear to get happy. i hope you work it out.im sure you will with all these peeps poppin in.
did you read third coasts thread. he dealt with some issues on this plant too. youll dial it. im guessing a little micro dose of foliar calag and a light feed of .5 ec for a minute will clear it up.

Its a cec problem from going soil into coco. The coco releases more K and sucks up mg and ca. That's why coco nutes are made with more ca, mg, and less K. So it looks like they are ready for more of a coco nute mix. I would try and stay away from going soil to coco, unless ur just starting in a little bit.

Thanks miraculous. When I start seeds, I'll start them in an 8oz cup of (lite worrier seed starter by fox farm)...and after the plant has 3 or 4 true sets of leaves . I will then transplant them into 1gl bags with a small mix os happy frog soil. Now what I mean by a small mix is 25% happy frog soil to 75% %cann Coco . typically I never have a problem with this. ..but there's always a
first time. When I transplant into 3Gal bag it will be 2 gal of coco only.and I normally have great success feeding my canna nutrients , and im starting to believe it's just this strain love's MAG...some of the best OG can be a pain to grow . but very much worth the time. ...and i think we all know that karma has ....DANK ass smoke. .. like I said though only 3 of my plants have this problem. .and I have 30...4 different types of OG kush . I'm going to update my.. diary... and the infirmary, with new pictures tonight.so feel free to stop by I welcome all the help and advice that I can get.....keep it green

the EC is too high, or basically too much salt. there is a ton of i think P or K in coir already, you need to balance it out by feeding more mag. either that or don't let the pots dry out so much. basically as the pot dries out the amount of one of those elements naturally abundant in coir and whatever you added starts to rise.

the coir is like a sponge holds the water and nutes in and as it dries out, water goes away and nutes that soaked into the coir build up. you will never rinse it all out, just make sure it doesn't get really dry.

Good afternoon Born,

That doesn't look like Mg deficiency to me

it's the same issue as i told you before, you're letting the pots dry out too much and feeding too much. ass the water goes down the salt content goes up. nute burn.

I am at week 8 on my Biker V2. She gave me fits all through her first few weeks. She just was not a healthy green even with added cal mag. What worked for me was Sea Green which makes nutes more available.

This doesn't look like cal/mag to me. Generally mag def shows lighter color between the veins which are darker. The first pic with the fired tips looks like nute burn to me. I have found that these ladies are not really heavy feeders and maybe your mix is too hot or too many salts have built up.

Here is a vid of my girls:

Wind burn? My grow room is a freaking wind turbine! There's no such thing. There's too low humidity for strong wind and temps. But not really too much wind.

And idblike to note that if new growth isn't continuing it stopped. Because the burnt leafs won't heal. I believe you are burning them. Make sure its coco specific nutes. Flush maybe. Lower the ec and wait a week or so for results in the new growth. And that old burns stopped.
