If you have a poly tank under 3k you can set it on flat ground, or a gravel base. I use a sprinkler pump to transfer water as well as run the irrigation. It is a 1.5 hp wayne pump that pumps about 5k per hour. As long as the pump can handle the lift you would be ok but the stronger the pump the faster you can move water around. You can control the pumps using float switches and relays.

You don't need your well to pump up at 60 PSI , the bladder is on the well to pressurize the well line to deliver water all over your property. you can just change where the pressure tank you have is in the line to pressurize the outlet after the tank..
I'd go well , check valve , piping to storage tank , float valve , check valve on the tank outlet with ball valve , outlet BV to jet pump with bladder tank plumbed in line to boost pressure.
When I stored water in tanks I just made a level pad for them with a back hoe and used road base to make a pad for them to sit on.

Yesterday evening I went out to the patch to extract worms from the stems.
I seen the classic build up of worm poop around a small hole under a bud that was rotting.
I peeled the bud back to cut it and it peeled down the stem and opened a slit into the stem allowing daylight in. That fuking worm came hualing ass out the hole and dropped to the ground on a thread of string it made like a spider does. WTF?!?
Like a string of silk. I cant believe how fast it is!! Tiny white worm that spins silk to get to the ground? Ive never seen that before. Does anyone know if these cannapillars from the moths are supposed to spin silk or a thin thread? Maybe they came from the trees around the area...or did these come from the moth laying eggs? Scared me for a second cuz I didnt expect that. LOL
Maybe Ill take a sewing needle and poke holes where I think the worm is and make him come out himself.

1/3 aereation
add kelp meal, neem meal, crab meal, gypsum, oystershellflour,grd
to that we do an occasional spray of sst/coconut/aloe/fulvic/compost tea
those sprays aren't necessary , but they certainly help...

Using groundwater to handle your garden is a dangerous game. Surface water is where it's at. Love that ice cold mountain gulch water
Nothing dangerous about ground water IMO. I just need reservoir tanks to help with the very high demand. I water for 8-12 hours day on my property. I also am hooked up to city water if I had to.
Luther - Cali does not have most of the country's fresh water. Look to the great lakes for that, =). In fact, this winter 90% on the united states was under ice, however Cali was not a big part of that.
There is plenty of rainfall here in norcal to keep up with demand. It's the politics of what happens to that water once the governments collect it all.
Edit: With that said, a nice big mountain river would be better, but we all can't be as fortunate as BYF. Properties with water cost a lot of money.

Coot's Mix Update. Rare Earth has agreed to mix up a very large batch of the Coots Mix for next year using the exact formula that Coot listed. In fact, we have sourced the exact same brands as Coot has listed. Rare Earth has agreed to keep the micros alive by watering and utilizing tea on the soil until it is delivered. The Logan Lab report for the beta batch will be back end of next week. Then that report goes to Michael Astera and his crew to finalize what will need to be added to make the soil Albrecht compliant. One more trip to Logan Labs and then it will be ready to have the final mix done.
Since a lot of the items will need to be sourced from outside the state, pre orders will be necessary. Deposits will be held by Rare Earth. They have delivery including Tandem Trucks. If you have not done so, and are interested in getting this premium, time tested mix done, complete with Logan Labs reports so you know what you are getting, you will need to PM me and I will get back to you with the details.
Each batch will be tested by Logan Labs and the customer will receive a copy of the report at the time of deposit or purchase. Can't get much better than this. I am making absolutely nothing on this adventure. The chump change I could ask for every yard is not equal to the extra pounds in each pot that I will receive when I grow it out. If you purchase this soil, you will be invited to participate in the mix. In this manner we can be guaranteed items like the rock dust are spread evenly.

The smoke is probably rolling in from the King Fire in El Dorado Nat'l. Been burning since Saturday and growing at a really fast rate. Last i read was 18,000 acres with 5% containment. That was yesterday.
Bamboo, that's pretty awesome, but I'm naturally hesitant at looking at a packaged soil now. I'd still like to think that it's possible to get it done right. I'll be looking into what you have going on. Thanks for sharing.

What aeration and ewc/compost will u be having them mix in? I had them mix 40 yes for me last year. They r nice ppl at 're.

I don't understand why someone would think just because they followed someone else's mix, that means success. You can have the best most balanced soil in your holes but if you plug them with shitty root rotted starts what do you expect besides sick and dying plants.
