Powdery Mildew on bud but not leaves?

What a journey this has been so far growing in my closet...

So I am about 1-1.5 weeks from flush and I spotted on one of my planets what I think might be powdery mildew within the main cola. I started inspecting all the other plants, nothing on any of the leaves and nothing in the side and main buds that I could detect.

I removed the suspect plant (which just happens to be the furthest from the 8" fan in a 3x3' tent, and placed it in the bathroom away from the other plants.

I've been searching on this forum for powdery mildew posts, and the only images I have seen are of PM on the leaves. I have not seen actual images of PM within the bud. So is it possible to have PM on just the bud and not leaves?

I took a photo, its kind of hard to tell from the image, but maybe its obvious to the experts that its PM.

What I really need is a magnifying glass. The white stuff kind of looks like a cluster of trichs but my vision is not good enough to tell.

Look up botrytis or grey mold. Looks like its more likely that than PM.

Yeah looks like mold to me. How humid did it get in your tent?

For sure mold. Rh must have been above 60% with minimal air movement. Next run get more oscillating fans and if you can, lower your rh.

Bud Rot, pain in the ass. I have some this year, tons of thunder showers.

I live by the coast so the humidity its pretty high. If I open the windows the RH goes through the roof in the tent. So I keep the windows closed and the AC on all time and that keeps RH at ~50-60 during the day a ~57-62 when lights are off. I also have one of those plug-in mini evadry dehumidifiers in the tent. Not sure how helpful it is. Seems to lower RH maybe 1 or 2 points. Short of that Im not really sure there is much I can do about the RH.

I'll order a bigger oscillating fan on Amazon today.

So the plant likely has budrot. What do you recommend I do with it now? It is stinking up the bathroom .

cut out any effected areas, sterilize equipment in between cuts with peroxide or something similar.

1-1.5 weeks from flush... how long is your flush. greencure up to 10 days before harvest. Longer if you want to try doing a harvest wash.

we would suggest making sure your exhaust is running all the time during the plants dark cycle. Radiator heaters dry the air out too . how cold was the room getting at night? the trick with that mold is to pluck the suddenly discolored dying bud leaf before the mold starts at the main stalk.68 degree min for night temps is the cut off.
