Un Flushed Weed.

. . Hey Amigos, just wondering about a flushing problem I got, over 3 weeks ago, I'd to chop some plants early because of the Bud Rot problem, well I chopped down some plants early because of it before they got flushed. But now that they've dried out I wanna see what I can do about the nutrients inside the buds. It would be a shame to see them going to waste. ;-) opinions please ;-)

Whatever you do, do not let someone talk you into a water cure. If they're already dry there's really nothing you can do. Add it to the hash pile or make oil out of it- haven't really noticed any difference in that case between flushed and un-flushed.
I don't know if flushing makes a difference unless you overfeed, but I always flush to be sure. If a plant is overfed and not flushed, though, it will definitely taste like shit.
Sorry, but this is all the advice I can really give :/

Thanks my Good man, I'm happy to hear that because they were 100% not flushed to much, they were fed just right all the time, they were fed just at the level of second month of a 3 month grow, on a baton measured stick, the lights came on at 21 ;-) not over fed atall.

I didn't flush a few of mine no one said anything so must have been as good as unflushed

Dry, cure and smoke per usual. It's like anything else, does it make it better? It seems it does, but it's a small part of the big equation of what makes fine cannabis, fine. If a lot of small errors are made, then you'll see a drop in quality.

if this is ever the case again and you haven't hung up to dry or anything yet just do a full dry and cure. a full proper cure will do any flower wonders no matter how experienced the grower thinks they are at "flushing". i reccomend wet trimming and hanging for about 3-4 days then i burp in jars for 2 months till desired cure is reached. i have ran "organic" bottles up until i take down and a good cure was all that was needed... now I'm not saying a flush wouldn't have helped the taste at all cause that will just open a whole new can of worms hahaha i have also ran canna aquas in recirculating buckets and that unflushed was a little harsh... but with a proper cure most people won't b able to tell. giving your plant too many nutrients for most of flower will give you a worse taste in my opinion. if your plant is never clawing or tipping out most likely you will b ok with a proper cure, but again that is also based on strain and how much the grower likes to "push" the plant. hope this helped just giving you some of my personal experience being a caregiver for multiple palates in northern california. i have had some really good bubble from an early harvest.

Holland i love it :)hahaha, but that is why i quit using fish anything once i get to week 3 of flower cycle. there are other things to use that give the quality needed, i believe. molasses and earthworm castings with a little 0-12-0 seabird guano tea up till the last two waterings works wonders i heard... plus if you do have to take down early this will still allow for a nice earthy taste without a flush..

Dr,
Did I miss something? Have you tried smoking any of this bud? How did it taste? Did the ash burn to gray-white? That's the bottom line. How does it smoke? -granger

It smokes excellent now, yes the ash burns like that, I'm very well impressed, very smooth on the throat & head, so yes it was flushed well. It is a very heavy buzz & very giddy laughing & joking alongside it, I am a very happy man ;-) :)

Bud shots please, any bud that is dark green has too much nutes imo. Kush plants tend to like the extra nutes and smoke comes out fine mind you.
