I would only use the zeolite when your distilling ime even with a .02 I still get residue... now i just use it when im distilling it after I receive it from the supplier. O yeah btw, I stopped the sub cryo runs w/o winterizing. Back to winterizing errything.

Adding water was an unusual success. Dunno what to say. This will be my process from now on. No more dealing with dark colors

I broke my phone the other day fishing, but I will post pics when I get my new one in the mail.

weird shit man.. I have the same problem .. with using anything alcohol related.. everclear.. hexane.. hexanes .. acetone.. all comes out way to dark.. nasty dark shit..

I realized. butane. co2.. propane.. are the solvents making for a good oil..

now I only use the alcohol for soaking stems.. fan leaves and shit for topicals.. or winterizing..

this is weird for me.. because honestly.. I ran some ethanol runs last year.. that was super super light colored amber..

its just not worth it. a closed loop system.. or even just passive.. creates a much nicer product..

ive only had 1 butane run that was weird.. and its been sitting in my freezer for a month or longer now.. I already dewaxed it.. and theres still this layer that's like impossible to get out.. I tried.. hexane and saltwater clean.. tried purging a piece.. and putting the purged oil into water.. to see if the nasty shit would separate.. but nothing...

so back to BHO.. for now.. qwet isn't bad.. but I haven't seen any that matches up taste for taste with bho..

Thanks for the input bro!

Not sure if I mentioned before but I am mostly talking about washing BHO, I am doing everything out of a CLS and then dumping the ethanol in first thing when I open the collection.

I tend to do multiple floods/showers with my CLS as well so the wax pickup it usually at a maximum with what I'm working with. It being the old material that it is explains the dark color I was getting with 200proof
