I echo the greatness of you having a hermi! now you can keep the strain going with the seeds that result. eventually you may have a strain that is 80% feminised ... like my Sativa which are bred season after season with hermi pollen ...

For those who want to make their own feminized seeds (that will not produce hermies), you need to do a full sex reversal of a female plant. Whenever I post links, they are removed.

Why not try it? But don't be disappointed when the whole offspring hermies as well and pollinates everything near and far.
With luck, the male flowers popping up were a coincident or caused by a stress factor you usually don't have... who knows?

Well, if it has male and female flowers, it's called hermaphrodite, if it has only staminate flowers it's a male and if only pistillate flowers are present its a female . If it was a FEM seed and therefore should be female by definition (read 'advertisement') but shows only male flowers, then it is either a masculinised female (a reversed female or the most extreme form of hermaphroditism, a rather rare case) or it's a normal male generated by stray pollen. As it's supposed to be an 'auto'... if it doesn't start flowering under 24/0 (18/6), then it certainly was stray pollen. If it does, lucky you, the stray pollen came from an 'auto' male and you have a nice 'auto' seed line in your hands. But that's just if...

What happens if A) it is a normal hermaphrodite and B) you let it live is that it will pollinate all female flowers in its vicinity including his/her own. That in turn, if you wait at least 4, better 8 or more weeks, will result in viable seeds. Putting these into new soil will show you if the hermaphrodite trait of your plant is inheritable or not before the end of the year.

Might not be a true herm if you put the plants through a lot of stress. Since you mention some not surviving, I'm going to assume they went through at least a bit. In which case you're making feminized seeds - that's a bit prone to stress->hermaprodism.
