Morning. Cleaning up plants today. Turning Compost bins. Feeding em some goodies along with the worms, splitting one of the worms into four bins. Their population is huge right now, make it five bins total --> 3 30 G plastic buckets + 2 20G smart pots. should just buy a smart pot big bed or two.

Loving the food man. Peppers are so fun to grow and collect. We are at a new spot this year so our garden is just starting up. Can't wait to see how those haze play out. Really looking for a keeper haze myself. I want some groovy 14+ week strain bad. Good show. Right on.

Have lots of sativa seeds to test out. We can find something delightful.

No I thought you were....I am Northern CA. ***wait for it***now I got it....you got smoked out from the fires....it's all coming together...

BCS is a real beaut. Never ran Tom Hill's genetics. Used to run afghani #1, liked that a lot!

Will be running everything for seed propagation/pheno finding. Want to stock up on what I like.

Man that smoke was crazy. I am on the coast but went through legget 3 weeks back. It was bad news bears. Heard laytonville was rough for awhile.

Saw the napa county fires happening. Was up in Redding when the fires started up that way...fun stuff. Haven't smelled it at my place at all this year.

Tea day again for thee plants. Thirsty ladies this past week, high heat and non-overcast mornings will do that. Will get some pics going after the gremlin runs out of fuel.

So have a good handful of seeds that haven't popped. Been 8 days, will keep watching and waiting. Never done the pre-soak on beans, but after this experience I just might.

Harvest moon tonight, last of the super moon series. Has been a beautiful array of moons this summer! Plus all the clear skies I've had for the meteor showers. Truly Stelar stuff! Keeping looking towards the skies agent skully.

Had another Beer Camp yesterday: Yvan the Great. Sierra Nevada & Russian River Brewing Co.
My neighbor brewers, well ones close and another one is closer. Close enough, throwing grenades here.

Style: Belgian Pale Ale
ABV: 6/2%
IBU: 50

Hops:
Bitter: Brewer's Gold
Flavor/Aroma: Celeia & Strisselspalt

Malt: 2row, golden promise, & acidulated

My notes:

Pours gold with a full head- that dissipates to a lovely cap of foam. It shows off it's light carbonation with medium-small perlage. To the nose, find estery yeasties of the belgian persuasion. Notes of cold limestone and spicy phenols lie beneath. Going back again, little bit of vanilla and oak.

To the mouth-piece. The light carbonation washes and spikes the tongue, whilst a resiny-spicey rip-curl waits to crash into the roof/back of mouth. Drink again, find light bodied with a subtle sweetness but with rich bold character.

Wish I had it back in April/May.

Good beer, needs a quite place to sit, either with a sunrise on table-top rock or full moon down at the geysers.
