I find that as well. Sativa's get me more paranoid that Indica does,

I'm not sure you would feel it with gg#4 Sam. your not an inexperienced smoker.

ive found this to be true for me also..

but ive also found.. that when I leave a sativa dom hybrid in flower till its almost all cloudy with some amber.. I don't get paranoid or racey..

and ive found if I pull an indica a little earlier then I like.. when its more clear then cloudy.. I get the same paranoid anxiety feeling..

its weird as fuck.. I didn't understand this when people said they got all paranoid and anxiety from buds.. until I smoked original haze.. and smoked a fat blunt.. to my face.. and got anxiety and paranoid.. and thought I was having trouble breathing and shit...

lol. terpene profile has a lot to do with if its going to be more upper or downer.. high or stoned..

I know a lot of info in these threads are basic guide line to provide a nice run with the GG4. I changed a few things this run. Instead of Hydro I went with Coco, up ppm from 900 to 1400 which will be 2.0 ec, and turned on CO2. The flowering time at 40 days seem way better then my RW run with lower ppms and no CO2. The yield at this stage seem more better then my RW run. I was wondering if I was doing something wrong if she seem she will finish quicker with fatter buds? I seen where some say if you provide her with proper nutrition she will go longer in flowering and the longer you run her the better the results and flavor. Is this for soil growers only? Do other growers have the same opinion in other mediums with longer flowering times? Can someone if possible list the flowering times on the GG4 that placed in Cannabis Cups? Just curious as Im not trying to ruffle any feathers. Does providing ideal or stressful environment provide certain results in finish product such as flowering times and quality?

sizzla, I get the fastest maturation in hydro with rocks..

had to pick a glue run at about 46 days once, came out amazing, better than in dirt or coco at 56-70 ( branches were bigger than most stalks would be in dirt or coco ) feed was 24/7 i think that makes a difference

Can't tell much from these pics. It was an uphill battle getting these to root. Think they weren't from the healthiest mom. Will wait and see once they start going.

The one with the yellow check looks like gg4. Tell tale leaf twist. The one to its left looks like gg4 too but its harder to tell. Other cuts are too small and/or the pic is a bit blurry to make it out for sure.

I have not tried anything other than organic soil. The other guys use coco they get just as good results. We both use low EC levels.. I tried a few runs with 1.5-2ec she did not finish the same as the 1-1.3ec plants did. Third Coast also uses 1-1.2ec after trying higher levels.. I think dans is also running lower ec levels now as well. Both batches I sent to the LA cup and Amsterdam where pulled at 65 days..

some GG4 crosses I picked up at the HTCC yesterday...

Anyone grown either of these out...?

I'm pretty sad though, won't be popping them for awhile :(

Heres my glue at 43 days. I learned im terrible at taking pictures, and this phone camera isnt the best. But they are very frosty in person.

When does the real stank start to kick in though? Its stinky but nothing crazy.

I would be worried if there is not a serious smell. I am at day 48 and my whole house stinks I have an 8" carbon filters, I just purchased an additional 6" to try and take care of the smell but it only helped a little. I am seriously considering converting my room to sealed room just so I can keep the glue.

Puffed on some fire quality GG4 s1 today. Better density than GG, similar flavor, the buzz was super nice almost felt like a mushroom come up, that light as helium chest feeling, uplifting for sure. I have to imagine that was a Chocolate Thai throwback buzz.
