looks like balls from my seat, the stuff on top looks to be new growth, not pistils.
I'm sure that's a male plant.
When a plant hermies it has to change it's sex, its a process n' takes time.
With the structure and development (nice plant btw) I'd say it been growing balls awhile. Hell it looks like its ready to drop any minute actually.
Kill it, collect pollen, or seed something.
Edit: If it's your first n' only, collect the pollen n' save it.

if it was hermie it would have female parts too, little whitish or off white hairs, about half a cm at most typically.

It looks like a healthy plant, so you should feel good about that at least. Not everybody's first attempt goes as well.
Next year you're girl will be all the better for this experience.
