Resin Bomb also called Blowchunk - Ive been interested in this strain for a long time & i got 2 packs as freebies. There is very little info i could find about this strain & couldnt find any grow logs on it so i decided to start 8 beans & hope to find something great.

idiit - ive ran 3 cannacopia strains so far all have been great so i have high hopes for this strain as well, i love heavy indicas & this seems like a good hybrid for something really heavy.

quokka - watcha talkin about willis? lol maybe indicas arent your thing? i dont know but i bet there were gold in them there hills...i mean packs.

kant c shyt - i think it will be a good experience i know the deepchunk males they used were very potent the dc phenos are very good for med use as far as appitite,nausea,pain & especially sleep.the blowfish sounds like an excellent strain too.

Breeders Description: Named after the deadly Japanese delicatessen, this breeding project begun when we set out to improve taste and yield two weak traits of the G-13 by using Oregon Funk as a pollen donor. The results were quite pleasing but the smoke test revealed that G-13's power had been downgraded somewhat. Then it was the turn of a very impressive Blue Dot hybrid stud, which qualified the G-13 with great taste and no harm to its potency, although this time yield was less than desired. Finally, we applied heavy selection to each of these two G-based lines, and crossed them giving rise to Blowfish, a winning combination of G-13's deadly punch and the quality and taste of the Funk and Dot lines.
Blowfish exhibits great F1 vigor and disease resistance in a well-behaved plant that avoids the undesirable traits of "blue" genetics (difficult to grow, brittle, leafy, poor calyx to leaf ratio) while maintaining the flavor of the Funk and Dot ancestors and the brain-warping power of the G-13. A prolific flower producer even under poor conditions (it actually prefers low nutrient levels), this low-maintenance strain bears wonderfully dense buds, with a thick coating of milky crystals that will rival the best of the "white" strains in both crystal coverage and brain-thumping quality, with much better flavor and yield. We are proud to offer a hybrid carrying no White Widow, Northern Lights, Skunk or Blueberry in its composition.

Parental selection focused on potency and yield, as taste and resin genes were already well fixed on the Funk and Dot lines. Outstanding ancestors infuse the plant with a high quality feel, evident in the glossy leaves, harmonious phenotype and the particularly frosted, heavy and aromatic buds. Blowfish tends to branch out while adding girth to flowering clusters, forming sizeable snowy colas for excellent yield. Despite the remarkable density of its bud structure, mold and mites have not been a problem. This fish likes plenty of water as well as appropriate root and growing space, but prefers low levels of nutrients to fully express its potential. Very well-suited for bubbler systems and SCROG styles.

Blowfish retained the breathless intensity of G-13, with much better yield and a unique taste of berries and motor grease with fuel undertones that will appeal to pot-snobs. The experienced puffer will recognize a rotten animal scent lurking in the background of this Puffer, a sign of the abiding sativa influence that was a common denominator in parental stock selection. Its buds smoke very smooth and clean, with a great berry taste and a hashy feel that relates to its impressive crystal coverage.

Known as Fugu in Japan, Blowfish flowers live up to its namesake as a lethal delicacy with a body-paralyzing yet heady cerebral effect that defies traditional "Indica" and "Sativa" classification. The plant's elegance stands in sharp contrast with the muscle and intensity of its buds, which stun the body but thrust the mind into a euphoric trippy experience with excellent visuals and duration. It does not seem to build tolerance with experienced smokers, maintaining its knock-out quality over repeated use.

Well so far i only have 1 pushing up through the coco im currently trying to germ all 20 seeds but most show no signs of life i have a few sprouted but looks iffy 2 sprouted a tiny tail then died off, i think the seeds are 6 years old by now & i dont know how they were stored. All i can do is wait & hope for the best.

looks like its only going to be 1 plant all the other seeds cracked then died or didnt crack at all, even if this is male i'll collect a little pollen & hit it to something good.

hey everybody, so it looks like it will only be 1 plant for sure all seeds are dead

cloudy-i read a little on fugu kush sounds really good i wish i could post a link to the description but this site blocks it.

rik78- its a bummer for sure i was really looking forward to this strain requested a freebie pack on 2 seperate orders just to be sure i had a good chance to run them but not a lot of luck fortunately they were free so its not all that bad.

im running some cannacopia- lapis mtn indica along side so if its female i'll hit it with lapis pollen or re-veg it if resin bomb is male i'll hit it to a purple derp or herijuana on the next grow im hoping it will be blowfish dominant but deepchunk usually dominates everything you cross it to.

I ran some NorCalGooXDeepchunk called it gunk.

Extremely resinous flowers. Similar to the cookies as far as leaves n trich but very harshly earthy flavor. That was my only complaint. Lacked the flavor I enjoy but was potent and smelt good. Looked great.

RB sounds like a great cross icon. I have pure DC and BF in my collection and was toying with the idea of making this cross myself, so will be watching this thread to see how your survivor turns out. BF on it's own is a great strain. I've run it indoors once and outdoors a couple of times. It produces some very nice herb, and I can only imagine how nice the cross with DC will turn out.

SirSmokealot thats what im talking about she looks pretty killer! How was the high was it more DC dominant as most DC hybrids are?

DC is my holy grail indica as it has helped me with a variety of health issues all from this 1 strain,i also just love the smell/taste too,
ive grown tom hills DC,3 DC hybrids from cannacopia & a few i made myself,
but not all DC phenos do the job theres only been 2 phenos ive found that helps my needs but regardless its always a great indica and very enjoyable. Hopeing that if i dont get that sort of special pheno then something good will come from the blowfish maybe the g13 in it.

neon you should make the cross & see what you will find you could end up with something special.
i just scanned through your blowfish/taskenti/trainwreck thread very nice i got some taskenti in the fridge i'll be running outdoors next year. what did you think of the taskenti?

late last night i noticed something cracking the surface, today i found life very slow eager to live but seems to be in a bit of struggle but theres still hope.If its a runt i'll keep it hope to get 1 male & 1 female make f2's & look for something good from there. thanks for all the good vibes everyone i think its helping.
