Christ...it's the 3rd already...fuck does the time go?

So I'm gonna guess that only 8 of the 20 seedlings will be female. So thats them in the 5 gallon pails over there. Thinking of hanging 2x400w's in the middle of them over lapping the light.

Of the 4 rubbermaid containers, one will have the Strawberry Blue. The others I'll stick the revegging clones in. Stick a 600w between them.

After crawling under my house today I started fucking with the ductwork. It's a cluster fuck. Done by the drunken neighbor I imagine. Nothing is sealed properly, fits correctly, etc, etc.
No wonder I'm spending $1000/mth to heat this place in the winter....
So I'm going to run 4" duct under the house from the grow room to the kitchen via my 6" vortex. (kitchen is the farthest room in the house...I'm hoping the length of duct will be enough to dull the "whooshing" of air coming out the kitchen floor register.

I plugged in the 6" fan an hour ago and seemed to have forgotten it sounds like I'm standing beside a Harrier jet during take off.

Gonna build an insulated box to house it in under the house.

I'm gonna put together a sub panel. I've a 30A circuit I'm not using so I'm gonna dedicate it to the grow room.

*I've no landlord, this is my own place...so I'm not above cutting holes in the floor, walls, ceiling...

...so that being said...start throwing the suggestions out there folks...

So when I said, "see this cup? Fill it, dump it on the plants on Wednesday." I knew I'd be golden.

Hell it was nice not looking at the fuckers everyday. I could actually notice the growth for a change.

Well it depends how many clones I need dude. My DIY aero cloner thingy only does 85 or 90 cuts. If I want more I'll use peat pucks as well n' wash the soil off if I'm going the hydro route.

I tried rapid rooters once and was pretty stoked at the results. I'm a cheap fuck however...so Jiffy's peat pucks is how dis' foo rolls.

Back a few years ago when I had my lil' vert rooms I used to clone for no other reason then something to do...just toss what I didn't want. But always had some on hand...but now I dunno wtf...

I started to think about (I'm in Canada) mandatory minimums the other night when I was drunk..started thinking about 5 big plants...started to think that's just a pain in the ass.

Decided to switch up my plans today. Gonna make my sun/mud room into my grow room. Fuck sleeping on the couch...

I need to replace the door. Buy some plywood to screw over the windows...other then that I'm pretty much good to go. Thinking of a Can 55 or 60 instead of my DIY/ghetto filter...

I had trouble cloning in pucks, kept them too wet I think. Luckily Ive got a guy that makes the Root Riots. He sells me a bag of 100 for $10.

The 'room' is my (was my) sun/mud room. And how I got onto the back deck to BBQ.

Now I'll be walking around the house....n' I'm cool with that obviously...

Room is 7x11, 8ft high.

Same set up as before.

Exhausted through a 6" fan into 6" ducting, back into my house's 4" duct work. I'm going to install a spring loaded 6" dampener into the duct work after the fan...so when the furnace kicks on it doesn't make the system run in reverse n' blow carbon all over the fuckin' place.

I will only be installing a 6" intake for the moment. It's Canada...it gets cold. I don't want to freeze everything. It's an easy upgrade if I need to increase it to 12"

I will most likely take the flowering #8 clones out of the fish cab and put them under the reflectors on the 30th of this month when I start flowering everything else. (I don't own adjusta-wings, they just look cool so I stuck 'em in my sketchup model)
So when the 6" fan turns off from exhausting the heat/smell, my 4" will scrub the room of smell while the oil-filled heater is keeping things warm.

....so other then buying/installing/lightproofing a new door...I've everything I need.

Hardware store opens in 5 hours, work begin's in 4.

I've been holding off on the FloraNova as I thought my compost might have still been a lil' hot. So nothing but tap water for these ladies since the beginning.
Compost seems to be pretty damn good actually. Nothing looks over ferted/fed/burnt.

Well as you can see the fishtank is now gone. And so is everything else in that damn room. Had to organize my shed and a bunch of other stupid shit to make it all fit.

Since I'm on a budget, (I'm fuckin' poor yo) I blacked out everything with garbage bags n' foil tape.
And not like 1 bag either, 8 on each window, overlapping ... fucking light proof.

I start cutting the floor to fit the duct work tomorrow.

Panda plastic n' a new door were actually on the top of my 'to get' list...

But I figure this room is gonna go over alot of changes in the next few months so I needed to prioritize some shit.

First things last...I'm gonna try to stop making shit lol, so no more home-made scrubbers...decided to spend money on actual quality shit from now on.

I went all around the inside of that piece o' chit door with weather sealing...but I'm still not satisfied. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do it....but rest assured, I'll make it ugly n' useful in no time.

homedepot has this White Vinyl-Clad Foam Kerf Door Seal

but it has wood attached to it, so you nail in the wood and then you can replace the soft part that molds to the door way.

Thats the best shit man, if you do it right, i'll be good enough alone, air tight too.

This shit Black High-Density Rubber Foam Weatherstrip Tape

is garbage. Unless the door is going to be permanently closed, I don't recommend that stuff, its not very long lasting with regular use.

It does holdu p better if you paint over it tho
