I`m in mostly "pm" mode after deleting my account for the last time in a decade MM , but thanks for the kudo`s and....... shit like Hidin in the Haze`s statement`s why most all us old heads from days gone by stay gone.....

Shit like Dr Fever`s trollin thread down here I refuse to post in , plus all the friction round all the know-it-alls on this site in the bigger threads just cements my decision to stay the fuck out for the most part , but holler in pm anytime and I`m gladta help....

To send a private message go to the left of the page where the posters name is. Click on their name and a drop down menu will apear. Click on the part where is says "Send a Private message to whoever". Up will pop a page that allows you to type a message like here on the threads. Type your message in the large box and don't forget to add a title to it. No title no sendy. it will promt you if you don't add the title.

A second way to send a message is to post it on their public profile page. This can be done the same way as the other way above started. When you click on their name the top says "View Public profile" Click that and you will go to their public profile page. Once you get there you will see a spot to type a message. Type your message there but keep in mind that everyone that visits their public profile will be able to see the message you sent. The first way I mentioned above will be private and only the two of you will see it.

You have many questions so I will give you another bit of advise that you may not know of. It is the button on the top of the page that says "My IC" this is where you can manage the threads you want to follow on IC.

To follow a thread go to the top of the page and in the middle it says "Thread Tools" click on this. Down will pop a menu. The bottom say "Subscride to this Thread" If you click that a new page will come up and prompt you. Here you can get a email notification of activity on the thread. Or you can do what I do and hit the bottom where it says "Add Subscription". Once you do that everytime you check the "MyIC" button it will show all the new post highlighted in bold black print at the top of the page.

This is a easy way to follow your threads or other peoples threads.

when I was a new member and PMed him he responded in my thread which I really appreciated. In many other forums you would simply be ignored.

As with any person on the interwebz who helps people out, the trolls and shite talkers and know it alls follow him around like he stepped in something gross and can't get the crap from out of the tread of his boots. DHF is one of the better peeps to ask for help because he will go out of his way to make sure that you get your problem sorted and your plants and grow room are back on track cranking out the dankness
It's just unfortunate that some peeps on here can't handle this and bag him out at any chance they get, these members don't last very long and it's very easy to spot them from a mile off, it's just hard for new members to spot the difference between a helper and a hindrance, though they will catch on pretty quickly mind you as DHF will still be there to help them out whilst the shite flingers get bored on move onto another target and won't try to help out the peep with the problem.

Damn right . Fred and his many posts here and elsewhere have taught me some of the most important information I have in my arsenal as a grower, and he's a cool cat on top of that . as always bro, :friends:
