My First Run With Dyna-Gro

What's up everyone....another dyna-gro thread? no way. haha. maybe?

anyways, just like everyone else, read a lot of homebrewers threads and post.

I've used standard fert like miracle gro, I used the 3 bottle ph perfect from advanced nutrient, fox farm trio, and now dyna gro.

I've used these ferts in mostly peat based substrates like fox farm happy frog, roots organic (I think it was peat based) and currently using promix.

I have to say, I Love Dyna Gro! A little goes a long way! I did run into cal mag issues with my fox farm and really won't get into detail about using other ferts other then I can recommend dyna gro as my fav. brand because of it's ease, price and success.

I sound like a rep, lol. Just stoked about the success.

I started off with foliage pro, pro-tekt, and bloom

I now have the kln, grow and mag-pro.

I like using mag-pro as a bloom booster better then koolbloom liquid although I still use the KB powder at the end (1/4 tsp is around 300 ppm or so)

I try to keep the ppm's low - in promix veg 400-600 ppm and flower 600-800 ppm. I did burn them at 1100 ppm (strain dependent) it was minor tip burn..

I'm about to use it with coco for the first time, I might head over there and get some help, so far everything is going well in coco though.

Here's a few pics, I just started giving some of them plain water, yeah, yeah don't flush - whatever - I do - call me a dutch sinner :)

Thank you homebrewer for you threads and I hope that anyone that is on a budget can use something to their success (whatever it is!)

Currently that is a mix of blueberry for dutch passion (first run) and then some clones

Afghan from world of seeds (first run) and some clones

I am very new to all of this. I haven't had much success in the past but am happy to of found a good resource.

Temps were around 80 day 70 night throughout - dropped it a little during flower to 78-68F 45% RH

I don't mind sharing my feeding schedule or anything, pretty much used the soil feeding chart from dyna gro

Anyways, ICMAG is awesome, lot's of incredible work done here. I'm here to answer any questions and will see how it works in coco, any advice appreciated

I had pics up, not sure where they went

here's two blueberry clones from dutch passion on dyna grow

Dutch passion says

"She may not be the easiest variety for the newer grower, and can be a fussy feeder, but she will repay the experienced grower with harvests of perhaps one of the best cannabis varieties available. "

These are two small clones. Just wanted to say I really enjoyed dyna gro.

I will be trying other lines as well - mainly wanted to thank homebrewer for making threads on explaining the simplicity of salts and plant interaction with different ratios....He's the only one that did a bunch of side by sides with pics and great explanations for me...

Sure there is other threads out there (nute line vs nute line) that I'm unaware of.

Love using Dyna Gro!! I think their bloom is one of the most complete one part nutrients you can buy...

My only problem is the salts always fall out of solution on me and cake up on the bottom...

I once recieved a liter with salt chunks on the bottom of the bloom bottle. Just once though.

Had some other bottles since the beg. of the year, no salts.

I was wondering what to do with that bottle with the salt chunks on the bottom? I know this is a common complaint. Does that mean your bloom is less concentrated since the salts are concentrated on the bottom?

First off, your plants look great!

I got a bottle that had those chunks in the bottom once (like you...once). I just kinda strained through them. The plants didn't seem to mind. I don't know if it affected the overall strength of the nutes since I just pour it in and stir until my EC stick tells me that I'm good.

I've use soooo many different nutes and have come back to Dyna-Gro. Like you said, real strong concentration (and great prices), very ph stable, just all in all easy to use.

All their products are quality IMO.

dyna is great stuff, well balanced nutrition, easy to use produces decent quality, just make sure to start your flush a little early as it seems to be a little on the high side with the nitrogen

yeah, their bloom actually hits pretty hard

10ML a gallon which is "3-12-6" comes out to (close to 1-2-2)

N 104 PPM
P 182 PPM
K 173 PPM

it's salt in water...just shake that shit back up till it dissolves back into the water.

this is my first try using dynagro. it had crystals in it when i bought it, just shake it back up.

Thanks to Homebrewer, I also won't be using anything other than Dyna Gro from now on. I have numerous bottles on the shelf from other companies that will likely never be used after running DG. It was hard to believe that such great results could be possible without all of the additional additives, but it's true. Keep it simple!
