Holy shit, you ever go into your grow room after going in there everyday and go, "Holy shit, when'd they get so big and frosty?!?!?"

I'm feeling really fucking excited for September 4th now!

the db is plumping up like a mofo, fucking loving it right now. I swear she's like 25% bigger than yesterday, really kciking into gear now.

Tonight is last night of feed for her, then off to flush for two weeks then Im gonna do JACK SHIT for a week or two


God DAMN, just finished up watering and then I had to wipe up all the drool from staring at her fine frosty plump ass. She's already starting to fade a bit at my full strength (about 1.2-1.3 E.C.), taking that as a really good sign. I must've missed the window with the bb's cause they stayed pretty dark and lush throughout. This db is just sucking up everything I'm giving her and not batting an eye. So much happier now. I should have a nice harvest with 0 bud rot. Think I'm gonna try and get my bubble hash skills up. Even if I fuck it up and have a lot of contaminant it will still be some fire full melt Have some new thoughts on my procedure thougyh, hopefully will come out a cleaner and more beach sand looking.


Really late, but RIP Robin Williams. Major influence in my life growing up. Only celebrity I'd give a shit about dying probably. Wasnt expecting it, but it hurt pretty bad when I heard.

Oh yeah man! I thought she was moving along pretty fast from week 1, but I swear last night I could see all the buds almost 2x as fat as they were just a day or two before. She's doing everything she can in desperate search for that dick now, lol. Getting so sexy.

I made some wax from some bb trim and a little bit of pop corn buds I had laying around. It came out pretty waxy and wasn't 100% purged of butane. I was trying to save as much of the terpenes as I could to see if it would be a stronger high. (just a one time thing. People huff butane and live, this is nothing comparatively). It was solidified, and I used no heat to purge it and there defnitely was some butane left in it.

Took a dab and didnt get too high, pretty mediocre actually. Then I decided to cook it down in the toaster oven like I usually do, a bit more even (partially decarbed it). Then I took a dab and got much more noticeably high, very very high actually.

I am wondering if this is because I cooked out a good portion of the terpenes, which I believe some may be working againt the thc in the bb.

Or possibly residual solvent somehow reduces the high impact, even though I'd assume it would seem stronger/more messed up feeling from residual solvents.

This is pretty interesting to me. The flavor isnt what it was, pretty bland and just hashy now after the heat treatment. Really wondering if some of the terps are just acting like troughs to the highs peaks and canceling it out a bit.

I dont know, I am really really high right now, kinda more sativa like too. Really fucking liking it, gonna blast more and try the same and see what happens.

Density's looking pretty good for being such a hot run. I snipped a "larf" bud from the bottom of the plant a couple days ago since Im gettin ancy. It's still fairly wet, but not nearly as fluffy as I thought it would be. Should be dry enough to smoke tomorrow night and Im betting it's gonna pack a punch even being a week early and only dry enough to smoke


Smells so good, just nice and sour. The perfect Sour smell I would say, so hard for me to describe. Buds are filling in nice and it looks like it's just about done throwin out white hairs. Just getting more and more frosty every day too, really doesnt slow down.

Getting a nice fade already too. I gave her my actual flush last night, about 3 gallons. ppms were coming out at 270 on the run off ( .5 E.C.) but I didnt want to push it any further. I'm starting to wonder if maybe my bud rot problems come out of me doing that big flush.

It takes me about an hour and a half to get just those 3 gallons through and it's starting to make me wonder. I just imagine all that water in the plant, almost like it supersaturated during that time and could be making a little haven for the Botrytis.

Im thinking next time I may just try and start to flush a bit earlier and just water to about 2x the run off I normally would. Maybe get a more gradual flush and not have so much water saturating the roots for an extended period of time.

I decided to not even water her today just in case. Even if the pot gets extra dry she'll be just fine, she's strong like bull thanks to Mr. Tony

I wait till the last two weeks. First week just plain water to run off (I use 10mL/gal Florakleen with all water during final flush. This may be part of the problem??), then on beginning of the second week I do a "big" flush (usually 1.5x-2x of water as pot size), then back to water to run off till a day or two before chop to let em dry out.

Im thinking my timing may have just been off with the other strains I didn't get to yellow as much as I'd like. Not sure though, we'll see.

Gotta say you do a spectacular job on all fronts Dan, I'm hoping one day I'll have my stuff nearly as dialed in and tuned as you do good sir! Love that Glue factory you got goin there.


I have some Bruce Banner in flower along side the db. I heard about GG#4 being an accidental nanner pollination and got my hopes up. The Banner had one little nanner I think I may have snapped in time, but Im actually kinda hoping it strayed over and found a couple buds on the db.

I know in all likelihood it aint gonna be anything to keep, probably gonna have balls all up and down whatever comes out, but ya never know. The Bruce Banner I have is some fire, and the db is just as much so + amazing pain relief. Banner has a really nice structure. Would be awesome if I could get the db to stay the same and just grow similar structure. Im getting all sorts of ideas now, better smoke one and go to sleep.

I don't flush at all . I leach , meaning i just feed like i normally do ..... untill i get decent run off ..... but the last 12 to 14 days ...... i feed nothing but plain RO water . no PH no nada . you can't PH RO water anyways unless it has some type of buffer in it like nutes . so i just dump the rez & fill with straight RO for the last 2 weeks . no long flushes or any of that shit . I use to add shit to to help flush , but it always had to be PH'ed & had some type of nute in it & i wound up green most times at the end , plain RO & you've seen what my plants look like at the end now

I've been thinking somewhere along those lines. That's the term i've been looking for, leeching. That's what I do for the first week, but then I think about the shit I've read and think "ah shit, I havnt run 3x the size of the pot, better do it NOW"

I think I'm definitely done with the little surge of flush at the end. It just feel so much better and makes a lot more sense in my head to do the leeching thing. I think I may drop the Florakleen too. It only raises my ppms by about 20 (.04 EC), but I honestly dont have a clue what's in it.

Maybe for like the first 2 or 3 days of the flush I'll use Florakleen just to break up any of the stuff that may be really gunked in there, then just go to straight water. I'm betting you more than half my bud rot problem was coming from these stupid flushes I was doing at the end.

Thanks again man, I think I just may pull off a Botrytis free crop this go around

If I do get some, even the smallest smudge of Botrytis, I'm chalking it up to my stupid over saturating flush at the end. Im so glad I asked man, your answer was exactly what I was hoping for. Will make things easier as well

I can't wait to get an organic mix like yours goin too once I get some money. I can only imagine how tasty and strong your stuff must be compared to mine. Only stuff that comes close would be my Dad's from about 10 years ago. I believe it was a very similar mix. I dont think he fed, just watered till the end and it was some of the stinkiest strongest stuff I've ever had.

its gonna be so nice in a week

Just smoked a bit of the small bud I clipped. It was still really wet, I couldnt even break the bud off the stem, had to cut it off with scissors. The outside was just barely crumbly, but still a bit squishy when you squeezed it.

I took a baby hit off a dry pipe and I am stoned already. Even without a complete flush its smooth and tasty. I really cant wait for next week, I'm just about out of everything. Have maybe an 8th of some larfy stuff left and I would much rather smoke this half wet db larf than any of it. Sooo good man.

Alright, small update.

Im really hard on money right now so I ended up selling just about everything I have bud wise. I have about 3 bowls to last me to next week when the db will be dry.

In being not so happy about that news, I decided to be proactive (mainly just to take my mind off not being able to smoke =\ ) and clean some shit.

I figured I would start today with the bathroom and then work from there (grow is in a room w/ the bathroom attached).

I went and disinfected everything from the top down. Tub, toilet, sink, walls, ceiling. Everything. I first did a scrub down with bleach, then went over everything except the walls and ceiling with some 91% ISO.

I mainly did this because of my concerns with bud rot, even though I know it starts on the plant while it is growing. I figure if I go over EVERYTHING in the room and adjacent rooms. I should just have an overall better quality of crop, and less chances of further problems.

(Also read on here someone tested some mmj from a dispensary and it tested positive for some vaginal bacteria and poopy bacteria. Figure it cant hurt to cover all my bases since after chop I usually hang the plants in the bathroom on the shower rod while I trim the rest.)

I figure I'll hit the main room the plants are in tomorrow, and after I harvest the beasts I'll go ahead and hit the tent too.

Bathroom is immaculate, I dont even want to take a shower in there for fear of dirtying it up after all the cleaning.

My bud was good before except for the minimal bud rot, but now it will be even better, hopefully. Even if it's all just in my head I think it'll be better. Can't wait to smoke a bowl of db in there when it's all said and done.


I'm getting really, REALLY ancey for some pot right about now. THinking I may just chop her tomorrow, or Wednesday instead of Thursday.

Is there much resin formation or anything like that in the last 2 days? She's looking like she's all but stopped growing, and has started drinking considerably less water. She hasnt quite faded like I wanted, but Im really thinking this is because of my poor flush method which I will never do again. The leeching method makes so much more sense to me now. That's what I did on my first grow without realizing it and that one got very very yellow.

Oh well. No too worried about a touch of green left in her, for the most part she faded really well. Just debating whether or not I should wait till Thursday, or if I can get away with a day or two early chop. I think I'm gonna chop Wednesday at least. Really cant imagine a whole lot goin on in those last 24 hours.
