gas prices are crazy here in cali and next year is supposed to be way worse....so what does a gal of gas cost you...if you can include state and octane that would be nice,,,but I know some folks don't want their location known..thats ok..... my last fill up lowest octane think its 87 was $ 4.09 gal....luckily years ago I setup my ride to run on low octane gas......yeehaw

$3.60 last week in Portland. That was the lowest in the area, lots of places are charging 30 cents more per gallon.

$3.09 down the street today. We have one of the lowest gas taxes in the country.

Doesn't do me much good though because I have only bought gas 3 times this year. I mostly take public transportation if I can because I hate driving.

I stopped looking a a few years ago. Jacking the price up backfired because I just drive a lot less and order more of my shit on the internet instead of going to stores which is bad for the local economy, but whatcha gonna do.

$3.49 in upstate NY, which doesn't look so bad compared to some others
interesting posts of those who chose to scale down their gas habits

I don't know who is familiar with this website, but it is pretty damn handy in these days of high gas prices. Here it is for my neck of the woods, I think all you have to do is punch in your zip code to get results for your neck. Or, just google "cheap gas," thats how I found this site.

Central FL

filled up at $3.09 on Tuesday, today it was $3.25.

Ethanol free is still over $4.00/gal

My truck averages 12 mpg and my boat gets 1 mpg. my truck gets 7 mpg while towing my boat.

There's no rhyme or reason to the price fluctuations but I just can't bother to get worked up about it anymore. Still cheap compared to most of the rest of the world where oil isn't nationalized or heavily subsidized...
