Sour power Biker & 24k white gold karma

Hey yall, long time stalker on ic, new member. I have x3 sour power Biker and x2 24k white gold from karma genetics I'll be testing out. I started the seeds on the 18th using a wet paper towel and Tupperware yadda yadda.. All 5 seeds sprouted and went in to a mix of perlite and soil.

I will be vegging them in soil until they are big enough to clone and sex, then they will go into DWC for veg and ebb n flow buckets for flowering. I will use 1000w hps for lighting and dynagro nutes. I have an air-cooled hood, 440cfm exhaust, 5x5 tent, oscillation fans ect.

Hey GA, thanks for stopping in! - I am really excited about these crosses, I'm a huge fan of the diesel and kush strains, so the diesel crossed with a kush sounds perfect. Also, I love tangie crosses, this will definitely be a fun grow.

At the moment I am vegging some tangilope clones that should be going into flower in a few weeks or so, so while I'm finishing that grow up, the SP Biker and 24k will have time to be fully vegged and sexed, take some cuts and veg them. By harvest time of the tangilope, I will have the fem clones (hopefully I get one fem from each strain) ready for flower.

Thank you all for joining in for the adventure of popping my karma cherry. I'll do my best to keep you all entertained.

Here's a pic of my tangilope clones. They look good, but don't be fooled. I believe they have caught some minor slime of some sort. I just cleaned the system with bleach and then added new water and bleach at 1ml gallon and 30ml a gal of h2o2. I'm hoping I caught the problem early enough, it's been about 10 days and 7/10 have rooted but while moving them to clean I ripped one of the clones root off so 6/10 have roots now thanks to Mr all thumbs today.

I'm hoping these problems don't set me back to far. I'm hoping by next week at least 9 are rooted so I can finish the grow up and keep truckin along.

AP - Sorry to hear about the butterfingers incident. Did make me laugh (reading the way you describe shit), if that makes ya feel any better. Sorry to hear about the slime.... I know you'll pay attention to things and if stunting the plants can be prevented, you'll be on top of it.

Hey GA, things are going well, hope all is good with you too!

I got the tangilope as a seed freebie from **another seedbank**, it was available as a freebie for one or two days a couple months ago so I jumped at the chance and ordered a few pick n mix seeds - I got purple paralysis and my ultra I believe and recieved the tangilope for free. There are a few dispensaries in my area that have a variety of clones, but I prefer popping seeds. Although, my last run I used dispensary clones and grew agent Orange and Larry og, they came out OK but I know they weren't the best possible phenos for those strains.

Randomman- way to laugh at my pain, lol just kidding, I'll definitely try my best to save them, I'm thinking about using spring water next time for cloning, my tap water is getting terrible lately. The slime seems to have left for now, I'm going to keep dosing them with h2o2 for the rest of the time they're in the cloner. Then I'll throw the cloner in the dishwasher to sanitize it. I think my pump had something brewing inside of it.

I thought that the cuts held by dispensaries would be very good or elite clones of that strain ? How much would you pay for clones ?

Do you use anything to keep your hydro equipment clean ?
I started to use drip clean a few years back and since I've never had
A problem with my pumps breaking down and lines blocking or anything nasty building up in the hydro equipment the plants love it too

Hey GA,

I'll probably start a thread on ic for the tangilope eventually, once I get enough viable cuttings to root well.

Some dispensaries have better clones than others, but some clones are just bred from a pack of seeds, alot of places don't take the time to pheno hunt, also many of the dispensaries clones are bought from vendors and outside sources. There was a huge problem going around with clones from clubs and delivery services that had broad mites, so I'd rather not take chances with them. And most clones are just over rated stuff, pretty much whatever is popular at that given time, or old stock that isn't popular anymore. The clones range from 10-20$ each, which is reasonable. The rare clones are really hard to find because no one wants to give them away in fear of too many people getting them. It's kind of selfish, but at the same time I understand.

Sometimes I use vermifire soil from the store, but lately it's been causing deficiencies so now everything was repotted into a mix my friend makes, it's an organic soil, of composted manure and leaves and egg shells plus a bunch of other stuff. (I don't make I but my friend makes a good amount for her veggie garden, so I'm not sure of its exact recipe, I just add perlite) It's been working great, but I don't use a lot of soil, only my mother plants and seedlings I use soil. I find its easier to start seeds and keep mother plants compared to hydro, but anything that I'll be flowering is in hydroponics.

I found myself that the bagged 50l soils can cause lock out etc

I mix my own now using the bagged soil but add perlite coco and hydroton ,
with that mix I use balanced water for two weeks than start off slow on the nutes usually get good results with no lock outs etc
