Lady in the forest

Hello again ICMag!

This year i have more time on my hands so I thought why the hell not :peacock:

I sprouted few seeds and what came from them was this beauty. Ye ye i know just one lady...but thats enough for me and few of my friends to enjoy later on

Soil was amended with horse manure, some organic ferts and perlite ( done in late winter ). Sprouted at the end of April I kept her inside for a month to veg and took her outside at the end of May. I forgot to top her so I did some LSTing later on.

Problems came with the weather in July....a ton of rain. Noticed some stem rot. I cleaned that up with H2O2...or so i think. I have to visit her again in the next few days to check up.I bought some organic ferts for mold and pests ( Plagron - Diamond Shield is it any good? ) so ill use it if its still there. Lately the weather has been nice, lots of sun and no rain. So fingers crossed!

That looks like an animal (rabbit, groundhog) tried to chew it down or ring it. Lost a few plants that way. Wrap it with tree tape.

Thx for the support!

Ye i know i can lose her anytime. Last visit it didint look so bad, had little to no mold. I cleaned that up with H2O2 again and fed her with some Diamond shield(Foliar feed ) and some nutes for extra strenght. Only time will tell...Ill visit her again in the next few days after the rain stops ( 2-3 days of heavy downpours >.> )

On that note ill change the resolution of the pics next time I visit. Totally forgot bout the picture size

It looks like that becouse I did some surgery on her...took the dead plant matter off. I went on a sail boat for 2 weeks and in the meantime it was always raining back home. When i came to check her up that part was covered in black/gray mold...You can see the end result.

Looking good Perolito. Hope she doesn't skip a beat for you. I have had damage like that from snails and mice in the past. Some seem to pull through just fine. Some lose a lot from total yield and others have just shriveled up and died.

@ Guyute,Nes,Gardening Angel thx for the kind words guys!!!

Well where to begin.... Horrid weather (2-3 weeks of rain and its not stoppin soon with strong wind from time to time) with the fact that stem rot almost took her from me, the result is clear...she didnt make it.
Shitty weather...

It was beyond repair when i saw her... Half the branches just popped off ( rot )....it was a sad day indeed. Well...bigger and better next year!!!

And now for some positive vibes! Secret patch is doin fine as of now, we will see what September brings us...

Well it was a fun ride till it lasted, I will post some pics/notes here if the other ladies in the forest and balcony do finish/deliver till then keep it green ICMag!!!

And now for a nice j up the hill...
