So, for the past few nights approx 3 hrs after working in the garden all day- I've been getting little red raised bumps on my forearms up to my shoulder and neck area & it stings & itches like CRAY cray!!! I've been growin for over 8 yrs and this is the first!!

Is anyone else having this problem in the Foothills???. WHAT could be causing I it? :( help!!!

Ive seen all different types of new insects this year that I've never seen on my girls.. Could the bug problem be caused by our lack of water this year :(

I'd love to hear from my peeps!! Help an itchy girl out. Lol:tiphat:

Peace

I noticed this working my raised beds with my forarms on the soil earlier this season. I think mine were from little bugs.

I get an allergic reaction similiar to what u described from rubbing up against resinous mj plants. i didnt used ro have any reaction at all but from what im told the more u r exposed to it the more likely you are to develop an allergy... getting older is fun.
anyway, it could be allergies... maybe?

its from the plants

long sleeves work great if you have to work in the plants all day

a nice warm water wash with some dr. bronners peppermint soap works great for me.

yup when I work in the garden and bump into flowering plants I get itchy as fuck.. but not so much with vegging plants.. but good luck on that issue lol.. my patches are covered in poison ivy so I know exactly what I gotta do every time I get back from outside.. got Technu.. and that takes off the ivy oil.. works great.. no ivy in 2 seasons.. an I mean my spots are covered in the stuff..

After you're done get some rubbing alcohol on a towel and wipe down your arms
Keep the towel good and wet with the alcohol
