TOTAL YIELD: All the buds. ALL OF THEM.
NUTRIENT/FEED MIX & FEEDING CYCLES:
Veg: Canna Vega A/B, Great White Benefical Bacteria, Seasol
Flower: Canna Flores A/B, Great White, Monsta Bud, probs Budlink, budget allowing

So, this run I'm running Sensis Big Bud and Serious Seeds Kali Mist

Its on a cheap budget, and with not much time to put into it. First time I shut the door, it stayed shut for 4 days.


First Issue, Stoopid fookin Growlush MH lasted less than a week and then carked it.
Then there was a ph problem, should be rectified... I hope.

Dont know what else to say really, so if theres anything you wanna know, ask.

Got a new fan/filter combo. Blauberg Turbo 150, Can Filter, 150mm, 60 cm long. WAY overkill for the space.

Everything goes 12/12 tomorrow, now that Everythings finally sorted. There was a ph issue that is kinda evident on the big buds in particular, once I solved that they doubled in size in a couple of days.

They are shithouse. Only reason I used em for this run is because i got a retarded cheap offer that i couldnt refuse

GrowLush products are pretty much shite all around, though I have had good luck with their 125w CFLs but other people have got complaints about their tents and other hardware their CFL bulbs do fine by me

Interesting note about growlush stuff

Few years ago when I first started out, I bought a 250Watt GL kit.

The thing was a freak. started first time, every time, and im talking about hot bulbs started less than 30 seconds after turning it off (bodgy power supply where i was living), never ticked, never hummed, never made a noise, everything you could want in a ballast.

This fuckin 400, takes ages to start bulbs, hums like kajigger, and blew a bulb first week. to be fair, could have been the bulb.

5 of 8 main plants are frickin males.



Only the first Kali Mist to show up (which for some reason is also the smallest), and the largest Kali are female.



Of the Big Bud, Only the largest one is a girl.



I only just inspected and found out the sex of them all



I threw in some c99 and bb99 and got bad germ rates, 2/3 on c99 and 1/2 on bb99, thats a big change from 8/8 with the main plants.



As I said I only just inspected it, i chucked the light on and dont quite know why.



There is supposed to be a deadline on this grow, mid november, absolute maximum, so I can go outdoor without the hassle of that maybe getting me busted for indoor. I'm not sure if flowering three small plants, and a couple seedlings 12/12 from sprout, vert under the 400 is even worth it, I have batwings but dunno if I can be fucked putting them up. I have a bunch of mostly indica strains that I could possibly run 12/12 from seed and get a result But I dont know if theyll be done in time...



At the moment, Im kind of considering turning the light off, putting everything under cfls and keeping it in veg for outdoor.



I mean, yeah, I wanted to make seeds, but fuck me... I've never had this bad of an M/F ratio

Okay, so what I've come up with is this.

Switched back to horizontal. seems to be doing better instantly. i dunno the fuck i was thinking trying all new shit my first new run back.

Im glad i kept the mutated bb around, because even though its preflowers looked suspiciously male, it started sprouting them fine white hairs we all love so much.

Bent the crap out of the large kali so they all fit under the same bulb, at around the same canopy height

(side note. i have a feeling that the tall kali pheno would be exceptional for a SOG, albeit a long flowering one)

decided that the breedings this go round will be kali f2s and big bud x kali, as the big bud male was just not up to scratch imho.

kali males (3) being kept in the bedroom until they drop their jizm, open pollenation perhaps? or, there is one i am excited about, one i am not so excited about and one that looks okay to me...

one is very leafy, with small as hell clusters. not excited about this one

one has mid sized clusters and a niceish smell to it

the one i like most is the largest of the lot cluster wise and has a very nice stank on it.

They all have red candystriping on the stems, not sure if genetic or nute related.

Im thinking of either using all 3 males on seperate buds or doing an open pollenation... i might eliminate the leafy sucker right off the bat. not sure.

the c99 and bb99 (theyre in the pots of peat n perlite you can see hiding in there) got mixed up, so not sure which is which now but thats cool, i need to throw a whole bunch of seeds in in the next few days anyways... will just have to include some more so i can watch em grow

i caan flat out admit when i am having a bad grow, this is one of those times.....

i miss my army of kush clones, they were the balls. found a couple pics of them tonight n made me reminisce

cant wait until next indoor run, i will have clones and a diferent space, but next run is next year after the outdoor season... just need to keep mothers in up to 48*c heat. no problemo

for this run though, at least i can make some seeds...
