The SLH is a bitch to contain, and I will only veg them for 2 weeks rather than 4 next time. A good "Oh Shit" plant, when you are in a pinch for time veg wise.

Arminius, last time I stuck my head in one of your threads you had some old barn or something like that you were trying to convert. Is this the same story, forgive me for not reading through all 74 pages. I remember seeing the beginning of the mobile screens with smaller plants. Now look at you, all growd up with your own labels, crazy edibles, and C3PO extraction gadgets! My hat is off to you sir for getting where you are now and I won't be as much of a stranger around these pars.

still .. too much nitrogen in the beginning of flower slows down bud production.. that's why lots of people do a flush of just water after stretch is done. helps with bud development.. im not saying they look bad.. shit looks fine.. but if u get the excess nitrogen out before stretch is over.. it tends to give bigger colas..

I tend to agree arm,, . For some reason ive always shown a littke too much n after stretch with jacks. I dont flush, but i cut it out hella early.

I'm in canna Coco. Ppm between 1050 and 1100 ppm .5 scale. Hand feed twice a day. I mix equal parts by Vol.Ph to 5.8-5.9 and it might rise to 6.0. 20% runoff.thanks arminus. Plants blow up in veg

Arm may have his own thoughts on this, but I'd say you are very likely experiencing lockout due to high levels of nutes in the media upsetting the cation balance. Coco is a whole different animal from soil. You should never need to exceed 1.2EC (600ppm @.5) at any point in a plants life while under normal light levels (anything less than ~60wpsft would be normal light levels in a non commercial setting). If desired it's possible to use a light PK boost once or twice during flower, but not really necessary if your base is dialed. Research cation exchange capacity of coco and this will all make much more sense.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing feedback! There were a few things off in that room, but I had to push the envelope at this new site. I need to put up some recent shots showing the fat chunky buds I was used to.
As things are settling down, I plan on taking a closer look at my nutrient profile.

Thanks for your encouraging words! The barn is where the thread started, and this is a completely different site. I have been contemplating starting a new thread to reflect the new site.
I want to keep it in the Vert section, so when I convert two lights to stacked 600s, I will start it then.
There are a lot of really good things in the mix, and have not shared all of it until it gets closer to reality...

updates???
Been too busy to spend much time at the computer. I have been taking plenty of pictures though ;-)
Once the vert conversion starts, I will get back to regular updates.
Here are a few pictures for now...

My main OD plot is a little out of control, and overgrown...
picture.php

These three SLH are 9.5 feet from base of trunk. Sorry for the sideways shots, iPhone is funny like that.
picture.php

OGHC is a fast finisher, and I should have put more out this year. I have three scattered, with the biggest one over 12' tall.

GDP stacking

The two Tahoe OG are going to surprise me I suspect. The initial flower clusters are huge compared to everything else. It's the same inside, so I have high hopes for foot long colas...

thinking about getting a bonsai hero for this years harvest, what are your thoughts on it? Use it for big leaf? Close trim? How much time do they save and how well are they built

Looking good Arm! That outdoor looks tantalizing. It's something I would really like to do once I have a space I feel comfortable doing so.

I'd still love to see those side by sides of nugs grown with Blossom Booster vs Jack's if you can dig it up for me. I know others would appreciate it as well.

Those finished/cut GG#4 look HUGE.

I couldn't recommend them enough! I pluck the fans with no sugar before I touch them with the trimmers.
I timed myself at the last site. From removing branches, to placing the trimmed buds on the racks, I averaged 4 finished ounces per hour. Some buds are easier to trim, so your mileage may vary.
I have already trimmed 21 pounds at the new site, and at least 30 pounds at the old site, including last years OD.

The Glue was in the room that got just the booster from Day 21. Definitely not lacking in size IMO. I will take better shots when dry with some macro shots.

Vert reversion underway...

Vert reversion underway...

I converted two lights to be stacked 600s. Just need to hang the lights, and build the screens. I have plants chomping at the bit, and will be flipped after no more than one week.
picture.php

I will be running half OG Headcheese, and half Tahoe OG. The first time I ran my Tahoe cut I pulled 9 oz per plant with smaller plants, and a new undialed room. The 4 vert Tahoe are almost too big, and I anticipate a lot of bent tops.

The rest of the horizontal plants. Half OGHC, and half TOG.

Dried Glue! JR Peters Booster from week 3-8, and RO add backs for week 9. Chopped at 63 and 64 days.

The OD is humming along. I have some plants that should finish in 4 weeks or less, and the rest over the following 4 weeks.

I got the first stack set up in Bravo, and the second should go quicker. I should have plants in the room tomorrow...
