Who's grown or smoked Grind house seeds Ultra Sonja?

Just trying to get some feedback and opinions from anyone experienced with Ultra Sonja. Cross Def sounds intriguing. So IC is Ultra Sonja fire or what?

Hey there goes edro, I've grown and smoked Ultra Sonja a year ago. 3 different females from seed, 2 similar phenos fruity and decent smell, look, and daytime high, and 1 Merlot pheno similar effects just smelled like wine and tasted a little different. Had 1 male and made F2s for future use. Grew them OD and thought it could make a decent OD plant. Had a great more open structure, didn't need support, and big buds all down the branches and everywhere . Did have little mold but I suspect that came more from the Blockhead side as the Blockhead IBL I did that year didn't do well OD at all.

Tried to grow 3 more this year and all turned out to be male but again before they showed sex they looked like the best OD plants we had growing. Excellent structure and filled all the way out. 1 had an awesome very strong smell of mentholated candy with a touch of mothballs but in a good way (would have used it for breeding but I had my hands full at the time with clones, managing other males, and also didn't want it to seed a nearby plant I was using to make another cross). If I find something similar again it will definitely get saved.

All in all would I run this strain again, yes I would. There are some very nice plants in there. I like buds a little more potent but for daytime smokers its great, you can smoke over and over and still get things accomplished without too much slow down but its not really a speedy high either. I will be on the look out for the Merlot pheno as it was awesome the 1st time I found it, didn't know I had it til after I got done drying it and was about to start really curing it and was like this is like a red wine lol. Also remember I didn't run big numbers of these but will when I get back to this strain. Hope that helps and take care 1

Thanks for the response! Was wondering if anyone would hive some input. Is it just me or has things slowed down around here.
