[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Hi. For the past few weeks in flower I have been loosing a lot of lower leaves. I am pretty sure it is lock out of some sort. I tried lowering the ph since I know maxibloom left alone for 24 hours will rise from 5.8 to like 6.4. I read that phosphor lockout starts at 6.0 so I started lowering ph feedings at 5.6. I am at 100% maxibloom now at 1.4- 1.5 ec. I am using small hempy bucket method in 3qt pots.

How long has this problem been going on?
since switch to 12/12. I am in 3rd week of bloom.

currently feeding 1.4-1.5ec

How often are you feeding? (If using soiless)
every morning

How often are you giving nutrients? (If using soiless)
every morning

If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
50/50 gro/bloom the first two weeks. then switched over late second week to all maxibloom.

What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)
maxibloom then ph up

What is the TDS/EC/PPM you are using
blu lab

What is the pH of the "Tank"?
was doing 5.8/5.9 pretty much this whole time. But I know maxibloom ph rises very fast, so I started feeding at 5.6 in the hopes that phospher lockout would not occur

How often are you testing your pH/PPM/EC/TDS?

Repobird, you have a clear N deficiency. I doubt it seriously has anything to do with lockout. You switched away from the veg ferts too quickly in flowering. Your buds are going to be made of alot of N, so keep feeding them N for around 2/3rd of flower, then flush, taper off if you so desire. Your plant will actually use up more N during flowering than veg, so make sure to give her what she's asking for.

Thanks Dave

So maxigro is 10-5-14 and bloom is 5-15-14. So the gro has double the N. How much do you think I should add back in the mix at week 3? Are you talking about 50/50?

3grow/1bloom from start to finish works better than straight bloom IME.

The units for the mixes are different to keep it at 5g/gallon (some mixes use 4 gallons, some use 5gallons). This isn't neccesarily the right strength to use, but made the math easy.

maxigro at 5g(1ts)/gal
NO3-112
NH4-20
total N-132
N-132 (4.5)
P-29 (1)
K-154 (5.3)
Cal-79
Mg-26
S-40

Maxibloom at 5g/gal
NO3-59
NH4-7
total N-66
N-66 (1)
P-86 (1.3)
K-154 (1.8)
Cal-66
Mg-46
S-53

Mixes:
3 grow/1 bloom/4gal
(i.e., 3ts. grow+1ts. bloom in 4gal water)
N-115 (2.6)
P-43 (1)
K-154 (3.58)
C-76
Mg-31
S-43

4 grow/1 bloom/5gal
N-119 (3)
P-40 (1)
K-154 (3.8)

2 grow/2 bloom/4gal
N-99 (1.7)
P-58 (1)

1 grow/3 bloom/4gal
N-83 (1.2)

1 grow/4 bloom/5gal

It looks like Hypno has already taken care of that. Thanks Hypno.

Thanks guys!

I've had great results with straight maxigro, so I will take your guys advise and bring it back in to the mixture. I think I will start at 3 part gro 1 part bloom. Thanks for the breakdown hypo

normally you want to wait for the first week into flowering and still use veg nutes, the plant takes time to change over, it does not happen overnight. Next time plants go into flowering wait a week before switching over, sometimes even 2 weeks if it's sativa
