Vertical Limit

Got all the black limes trained to their new caging. Going plants on the outside and pulling growing nodes through. If anyone ever wanted to replicate this setup, the metal 2x4 rectangle Fencing works amazing in comparison to chicken wire and the orange plastic festival parking lot Fencing. I have tried all three now for these donuts and the 2x4 rectangle metal Fencing is superior. So easy to pull branches through and I can fit my hands through it so that's a huge plus. I got pretty big mits too. The other side has a week or so left. Just waiting on the final hairs to color up. I think I should have vegged the black limes a bit more but I don't know how much it stretches and after the last run I will err on the side of caution. All learning and I love it. I am real tight on money, but in a month or two I want to enact a lot of changes I have been thinking and planning. I wish I had real investment capital to start a product I thought up for us vert growers. What a wild ride. Pce and happy days all.

Hey brother, much respect for SURVIVING A CAR WRECK! I'm glad you're doing well, is everyone else recovering well, too?

Pretty awesome grow considering the setbacks! I love the 2"x4" mesh as well. Do you use vine clips? They come in very handy around here, by the hundreds!

Keep up the good vert, I'll stop in and snoop-

Flipped my baby. Perfect condition PRE roll. My girl was driving, lost the rear on a wide turn, slide towards a cliff she over corrected and dumped it over into a ditch in the other Lane. I have been in so many wtf accidents that I walk away from. We are both fine now. Beyond the body aches associated. She broke her nose on the steering wheel, screwed her head up real bad. I didn't black out but I pulled her unconscious body out from the upside down truck. Broke the door open, flipped the fuel cutoff switch shut the ignition and pulled her out it was all such an instant reaction and I am happy my brain and body have the will to survive.

Goddamn son! Take care of yourself, good to hear you're alright! Sorry about your truck though, I bet it was fun pre roll. I see that solid front axle on that thing though. What's that thing have, the 22re? You handy with a welder and cutting disc? You know what to do now...

22r. Ran on propane into a Weber carb. 40gal propane tank 17gal gas. Was my end of the world rig. I got 2 more of the same model year and I am going to make a Franken monster out of them all. Love these damn trucks. Will go anywhere off road once setup. Doing a body swap and full restoration of every part ground up. That's one project for winter at least.

Glad to see y'all are okay. Try to stick to growing; it's less dangerous!

Little update. Plants trained and looking good. One side is finishing up. Within a week or so I'd say.

The program you used to rotate the pictures saves a new file somewhere else would be my guess.

I get that with pictures on my samsung galaxy as well. They always are automatically rotated as a landscape picture regardless of how I was holding the picture when I took it. To get around this I use a ghetto method of opening up the file with MS Paint and without doing anything else I hit save. I don't know why but it saves the orientation of the picture and then I can upload it accordingly. I'm sure there are fancier ways to handle that but I stick with what works. Try it out and hopefully it will work for you. I don't know if this matters either but I use Windows 8 (which I fucking hate.)

Here's the little update. I am no cannabis photographer for sure haha. Sorry about that. Do you guys defoliate at all? I don't want to remove anything useful but I feel like there's a bit too much leaf. All around good run. Black lime on week 3 I think. Cherry on week 2. Back room setup horizontal with 1 light and 16 phantom cookies. Had to edit post for pictures. Hit submit too quick by accident. Second edit. Why is there a red down thumb when I blank posted the subject. Phantom mod edit?

be selective and pull the fans that are blocking valuable but sites. Also ones that are overlapping causing poor airflow and moisture pockets. Just think 10% and no more for 5 to 7 days cause u can stall em out if u take them all at once at this stage.

I usually take the largest fans, 10-25% of total At flip, then again each week or week and a half until week 5 or so when they have basically none left but the ones attached to nugs. If you take them all at once they will still yield okay, but may take a week or two longer to finish. If I don't take any fans the nugs turn out fluffier than if I do. Defoliation, at least in Vert is key to solid nugs imho.

Not always, be careful giving this advice. I have lost a lot of yield by taking them all at once, especially during this stage. Ask DHF how it screwed him good when he followed that.

Alrighty that sounds good. My help went in and screwed up plants last time and stalled them out as described. I never really defoliated but I was told to by an old timer and he kind of went overboard. So slow and steady only where needed. Thanks. Appreciate the responses.

My help has stripped those bitches bare and I've watched them do nothing for a week then all of a sudden explode with brand new fans and nugs. I didn't mean to advocate that method, it certainly isn't advisable.
