Anyone else notice that the headlines on some news outlets changed from being a blurb describing the story contents to more of a "click-me" plea? I have even clicked before and read the article to only find out then the headline was totally misleading and the story had little to do with the sensationalistic headline. Yahoo news is really bad about that, but even USATODAY does it too. Even CNN does it too but maybe quite not as much. They must have more old timer news reporters on staff there or something.
I think it must have to do with rating the article by how many clicks it gets rather on the quality of the writing and news reporting. On tabloid sites I can see it. But something describing itself as a news source? No. But then again, I suppose I'm just getting old and cantankerous but that is kinda annoying to me.
While I'm being a tit-less bitch here, what the hell does Tony Donozo's new love interest have anything to do with being "headline news" on CNN's front page?

I was @ a friends place earlier today, he's got a big ole beard and I think I keep seeing something in there.
