i know must be here somewhere but what is the accurate dosage you guys would suggest for aspirin?
In reservoir and in foliar application as well.
Also, is there a specific form of the tablet to be avoided because of additives to the coatng or someting of the sort?
Thx
325mg per gallon UNCOATED in res. Don't know about foliar, haven't read or tried but seems to help in watering. Cheap

hay guys, im not spraying anything more this year (poisions)

I cant find any living russet mites, (nor any other bugs)

Questions please:

1. With no bugs, can they drive up a colony big enough to brown out my buds?
2. What can I spray now that im pre flower?
a. Was suggested to not use oils like azomax at this point.
b. I know nukem from flying skull is safe.
c. I have caps foliar pack brewing now.

My worry is I can see dead bugs all over but I can spend hours every day and nothing alive. I see what looks like eggs, yet iv used Forbid.

My plants are exceptionally healthy.

i think you are in the clear for now seeing as its an outdoor crop. id relax because its unlikely they'll emerge fast enough to take you out before you harvest. even if they do wtf would you do about it at this point aside from be bummed. its up to fate. youve done all you can. chill out and watch the race with your hands clutched on your bets. wring your hands if it helps but its up to the stars from now til harvest. oh and spray the teas, couldnt hurt. sounds promising..

Buy a No Pest Strip or two from Home Depot. Some people don't like it because it's chemical based and is carcinogenic, but it works fast and you don't have to spray/fog your plants, just place them near the plants and they do their work. Saved more than a few crops here.

I use them as well...also helps if you can turn your fans and ventilation off during the dark cycle as this will allow the gasses to build up and kill the little buggers...

Anytime I transplant to new soil I use this method as a preventive measure to eliminate any unwanted pest....usually do it for 7-10 days and its good to go.

How about spinosad sc? Pre flower and first week maybe two, before flowers really start to set in.

Does anyone know if using water (jet spray style) sprays daily helps to control HRM , Broads or Cyclamen ? I do a daily H2O spray in veg and have not seen any mites, but my plants have some real weird leaf deformities. Just curious if the hours I spend every week doing this are helpful ? I take the time to flip and spray every single leaf on every plant in veg. I also bleach clean all surfaces daily. Still paranoid though .... any opinions ?

i use an electric atomizer/sprayer, seems to work

i urge anyone battling HRMs to try isopropyl alcohol, 91% to kill them...

Hey Avi , glad to see you up on here man! Thanks for posting, I am not sure yet but think I might have a lil case of these shitz in my garden. Are you saying to spray the alcohol on the plant straight ? I use 91 all the time to keep my glass clean. What do you use in veg for preventative ? So many different approaches in this thread !

i've been using 1 oz of 91% iso per gal of water along with 1 oz neem and 1 tbs soap (dr bronners if u got it, dishsoap if u dont) as preventative AND to combat things when i see them pop up...
been great so far since i started using it.
i wasnt aware of this approach when the HRMs got in my room(s) but I bet it would work on them....

imo you could even go higher rates with the 91% iso... just gotta do a test spray on one branch and wait a few hours or a day to see if any negative results come up, like the mix being too potent and damage plants...

Avi you are the F ing man ! thank you very much. So i would probably sub coco wet for the soap , since I use coco wet with every watering I have it around. For the neem is einstein oil cool ? I use that as a preventative soil drench right before flowering. Thanks again man!

Foliar w water will stall them since mites, the ones I'm familiar with, can't deal with moisture.
Really depends on which mites for eradication.
Heat treatment indoors will take out BM for sure but don't know about the others.
120 F for at least an hour, longer is better. I passed out with veg room at 122 for 5 hours and thought I'd killed my 13 GG4s used for cuts but they were fine and reaching for the lights.
Won't harm plants w developed root systems but I raise lights and make sure medium is freshly watered.
I was crapping myself first time and backed off at 118 then 2 days later hit 122.
Sounds crazy but depending on where plants are as far as how long in flower, they seem to thrive on it.

Thanks for the info loose cannon. I still havent seen a mite yet , BUT the leaves on my veg plants are exhibiting some real weird deformities, like swirly and curly leaves, weird vertical swirls. I have checked with the jewelers loupe, just havent found anything that I could confirm. I am wondering if using the sns217 on the veg plants when they were cloned could have this effect? I had sprayed them down pretty good even the roots and cube. I have my flower tent in the same room as my veg box's, and am at about 50 days into the cycle, In the tent I have seen a few spots of brown or rust on a few leaves as well as a few "claws". I have thought about trying that heat method ... 120 seems like it would be hard to reach. I was worried about the effect it would have. I might try anyway. Thanks again
