I'm UP!! I'm UP!! :dance013: LOL! Got about 4 hrs of good sleep....now it's coffee time....gawdamn knee keeps me up when it gets in a certain position I have to manually pick the leg UP & move it...Doc appt. is next week & I'll have to make a "SG" decision...fix it or wait...Anyhow, the dishes got done...YAY!! Didn't have to wake up to a dirty kitchen...:woohoo:
The strain I put out there to check this ability to grow at 8000 ft is the heartiest KNOWN STRAIN I had at the time...Bubba Kush (named her Bubba-Baby) the last time I ran this strain, it was very "hearty" growing indoors, had a moderate yield for indoor, tight purplish buds & as this is my 1st attempt up here for outdoor...it was my best bet! I have loads of PVC pipe, connectors, elbows, etc....I love doing plumbing (even copper! LOL) & have a mass supply of everything...& a roll of plastic out in garage too (I think? LOL) Anyhow, I can slam together a make shift "hoop house" for the one plant...just small enough for the one plant & easy to pick it up (& move) in the morning....GREAT IDEAS GUYS!!! I like the milk jug idea, SG...Billy, you can keep your "sludge monster" heater...ORGANIC, Billy! LMAO! Wouldn't you be gassing your plants like that??? C2O it ain't, CO it is...LOL Right? Anyhow, as it stands now, picking up this 10 gal Smart Pot that the plant is in now, walking it into the garage (6 ft away) & pulling it out each morning, sounds like a pain-in-the-ass...but can be done! It just defeats my experiment!!! I really want to know what this thing will do at 8000 ft & I'm willing to let Bubba-Baby die a slow-slow death to find out...LOL

~Sundance~ Ordered another 600w HPS/MH fixture to fill out the Flowering Room! It will be here next week & then I'm ready to deal with 20+ plants flowering at one time...I like the 600w, allowing for adjustability for smaller groups of plants, but keeping them all together...it was a hard decision, 1000w or another 600w.....

Not ever have i said i am organic

HaHa...& I never said you were an "Organic", just "ORGAN"ic...you must give a shit about your ORGANS, yes? CO is a poison (you know that! LOL) & I wonder if anybody has done a study of CO fumes & the effects it "MAY" have on weed plants...& finished product? I'm sure there are 1000's of growers out there that run Kerosene, Propane, Nat. Gas, etc....HEATERS...hell, I ran an electric (oil filled radiant) heater last winter in my Veg Room (at night/lights OUT!!) but NOT something that pumps out fumes....have you?

~Sunrises in the Rockies~ sooooo purty! LOL

Smudge pots aren't being used much anymore(replaced w/propane or nat gas).

You don't use smudge pots in a greenhouse.
It will accumulate the CO no doubt.
Use them around the perimeter of the garden.
Keeps a ground up draft of warmth that holds off frost.

Elec heat FTW indoors.

10 of 10 popped of the PDP project 2.0

6 of The Purps
2 of the GH GDP's
2 of Major GDP's

Went to Hempfest yesterday in Seattle.
What a large event, goodness sooo many people.
Musta been 50,000 people, took up 3 city parks.

I freaked a bunch of people out, handing out my pressed dry sift to about 30 people.
All kinds of reactions.
Some asked how much? Free! I said.
Some went silent until I said free.
Some really thankful, since I looked for folks that didn't look to have any stash.
One older hippie looking guy refused, he was almost rude.
I think he was looking for his virgin daughter, seemed focused on other things.
I had labels on the hash baggies, Sanctuary Blonde Hash - Sanctuary Gardens.
Just to get people looking for SG, nowhere to be found. Hee Hee!

Only a few seed venders, Gage Green was one.
First thing I asked is if he had some Mendo Supreme.
No - very limited, he said.
Dammit Jim.
Fun talking with them though.

All in all a good time for my first pot festival.
Gonna be at the Portland OR Hempstalk festival next.
Givin away more free stuff.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I wish I had enough meds to make good quantities of pressed dry sift. :\ What are you getting like 4-5% returns?

All leaf with little no trichs are fed to the worms prior to harvest.
I end up with about 4 lbs of trim every 4 months.
I normally recover 8-9 ozs of golden fluff.
By doing the math, I say about 12.5% recovery.
No lying, it's frosty trim.

My pheno hunt

My pheno hunt

I'm going to hold off showing my ladies until they are a little older. In the meantime I'll post what my teenage seedlings are doing. I'm not sure if these are males or females. I'm not keeping males at this time.

This seedling has shown big leaves and good structure from the very beginning.

This one started out with some difficulty but it is developing big leaves and nice structure like Ravnus.

My yellow leaf Goblin Girl is still growing but very slowly. It looks like too much yellow will slow down the growth. I'm going to keep her going and see if I can take a greener branch and revert back to around 30% yellow. That seems to be about the maximum amount of yellow that won't slow down growth.

No luck on the last two PDP reg's, never even cracked. So I cracked them to see and they were both just mush.

Plan B has already been implemented.

2 GDP seeds ea. of 2 separate GDP lines.
6 of my The Purps BX2 of my #1 pheno.
Already up and going.
I'll have better seed this time.
Just gonna wait it out for a few months.
New years should see some fresh PDP's.

Just found out I will not be moving to NorCal for at least another year.... :beat-dead

So, I decided to pop some seeds as well.

1 C99 x GG#4
1 STS x GG#4
4 of C4's Ashratu (I wasn't pleased with how i only got 3 out of 4 to germ and then thrips and potentially two spotted spider mites and\or fungus gnat larvae killing 2 of the 3).

Had some bad luck this time around and setting aside the pest problems which arose from me being away from home and neglecting the girls for almost 2 weeks straight in late flower I used uncycled soil and 60% of my plants pittered out on me, so now I will have to time veg all the ladies properly and get the soil cycling properly. The only girls that turned out to be anything special were the Halo2x and GSC Forum Cut. Will get pics up later.

Glad to hear you had a great time a the hempfest.
Are you looking for GGG Mendo supremo? If so they are at the tude.

I kinda do, but wanted to just pick some up directly.
I figured they didn't have any, just wanted to BS more than anything.
I need more direct relatives of the Mendo purps.
Waiting for P Urkle clones, maybe canna clause will bring me some.
