Google Maps Has Been Tracking Your Every Move, and There’s a Website to Prove It

When I go to the website it shows my gmail address at the top right, but tells me I have no location history. I am EVER SO GLAD I don’t have a smart phone, and ignored all those not-so-subtle little pushes by Google to get me to provide my cell number.

I'm not smart enough to have ever owned a smartphone, with its built-in GPS, or to have given my phone number to Yahoo in case I "forgot" my email password...

Or maybe I was plenty smart enough....

must disable gps first.
yes hank, you can.

You can switch it off but it runs in the background and "pings" to the satellites the CIA use to provide Google with the images

If they're that interested in you then you're already fucked

Yeppers. All the phone locator stuff is secondary indications to the cops. They put a tag on a person via some other means, then bring it into focus however they can. An old acquaintance refers to them as "rat phones". In the old days, long ago, phone numbers were memorized & pay phones would actually ring when called. Now it's all right there on your phone with more from your telco on request. Narcs absolutely love cell phones.

There was an episode of the Sopranos where two Dons talked via prepaid cell phones, purchased by friends of friends- used once & discarded.

Or, track this, biatch.

gotta take battery out and then drain power. for iphones you're pretty much fucked. gps is an always on thing as long as phone has power for the signal to transmit.

they'd have hell following me. i have never bought, owned, borrowed, nor carried a phone for any reason. my wife wants me to carry one in case she needs to get in touch with me for some obscure reason, or if i fall out of a tree while hunting. i told her that if i wanted her (or anyone else) to be able to talk to me that i would stay home, and that if i fell 30 feet down out of a tree that a fucking cell phone crushed against my hip bone aint gonna work no way...i tell her where i'm going. if i aint back by midnight, call the rescue squad.:ying:

We'll I checked on mine and it has data from a few months ago. I honestly got tired of my phones memory always being used up even though I hadnt done a damn thing with it, so one day I went into my settings and force stopped and disabled any app I didnt use. There were like 30 google related apps doing god knows what. Ever since I turned every one off there is no more data on that website for me. I know they can still track me, but all there gonna find is me with my thumb up my ass.

And when did they stop making it so you can take the battery out of the phone? If I want to make sure my phone is off I gotta smash the damn thing, complete bs. Kinda makes me think. Reminds me of the movies, gonna need to encase your house in copper wire mesh for privacy now.

i think if the cops were tracking me through my cell they probably would come and visit me.... i don't really go anywhere..they'd probably come around keep me company and cheer me up "hey little fella...what you say we get out the house and get some fresh air and kick a ball?....our treat for ice cream"
