Hey guys! Sorry, no petitions as of yet. Thought I'd start this thread so organizations would find THE place to post their petitions! YEAH!!!! For those of you who fear trying to be an activist & a grower could lead to unwanted consequences, this is a great way to fight for the cause without drawing undue attention to yourself. For those of us on fixed incomes who can't afford to donate to the organizations, put forth your efforts HERE! Bombard the political leaders desks with signatures. Make them fear to avoid legalization, knowing they won't get our votes!...... And make it happen!

I will ALWAYS VOTE FOR legalization, but I aint signing anything on line again. last time I did, my e-mail box got shoved so full of bullshit that It took me over a week to delete it all! what a damn nightmare. it was even showing up on my wifes phone; THAT did not go over very well...

Aoh, I'm so sorry to see she beat you with a stick! You could still post some cool canna art! Or post links to online petitions from your computer! My problem is I'm using a cell phone & can't do it. I have a 4G phone, in a 2G area. My ph carrier tells me this is why I can't do much with it. I can send anything in an email, but not to forums. I can't figure it out myself. Havent used a computer since dos 5 (1993). I haven't had the 'flood' problem with NORML or MPP, but I get it with the animal rights & enviornmental issues petitions I sign, so I see your point. But do keep in mind that NORML & MPP don't do that to the people who are gracious enough to sign for them. They do send you a thank you & ask if you'd like to recieve their newsletters, which are about legalization issues. I really like the news letters.

Aoh, being young minded could be a sign of senility! LOL! I plan like I'm 20, but move like I'm 80! I make a list of chores half as long as I used to, & it takes me twice as long to do them. Haha! Betcha know what I mean!
- Shaggy, funny you should say that about 'my' eyes. A few yrs ago I wanted to get cat eye contacts for Halloween. Went in to price them.... around $500. (Prescription). WOW!

- I know we have to have a few artists here, so how about some canna art?! Doesn't have to be your own as long as you give credit to the artist! Anybody have any legalization tidbits of interest? Know of any politicians on our side that could use a little publicity? Post it HERE!

hello all, my name is mike although my user name is lumberjack.mr. I am a terminally ill renal failure patient in Texas, a full time nursing student, a award winning psychology student, and subject to 10 hrs a day of dialysis- in conjunction with almost 20 pills a day, and all of the wonderful side effects... Cannabis has been a life saver for myself and many other renal patients I know. I guess that kinda rules out the theory that pot makes you lazy, unmotivated , and stupid ... My problem is that im stuck in Texas and unable to relocate due to the extensive medical issues and treatment facilities I must has access to at all times... I need Help ! My entire life revolves around my wife , kids , and dialysis machine. My medical expenses exceed $ 78,000. per month ~ if I have no complications.
How on earth am I supposed to pay the outrageous prices of product/medication or the equipment to establish my own source ? I get so depressed and frustrated that I often wish it would all just come to an end! I am simply tired of fighting , after an ongoing battle that has lasted over 9 years ; my daughters have never known a day in their lives that their father wasn't sick !!! Where is the relief for people like myself ? I guess in Death.

Man when you think you have it rough just look around!

But man, no matter the circumstances you have to keep your head up.

I am not a big idea guy and not good at organization, but maybe we could see if people in your area will donate some old equipment and such to you.

Sounds to me like you need it more than most!

Maybe we can start a separate post for this elsewhere.

Thank you for your compassion; it is much more rare than most would believe.. I would be grateful to anyone willing to help. Im simply at a point where I am ready to just give up! only those in my condition or similar can understand all I endure on a daily basis. I have lived my entire life being beat down and ignored for my pain and suffering to continue unabated. it is really refreshing to know that there are some in this world that have a vision beyond the surface, and the compassion to offer comfort to others less fortunate.

Mike, I'm so sorry life has delt you such a blow. It is for you & those like you that we need to fight the hardest for. Mmj should exist everywhere, without question. Common sense should tell us all that long term & terminal illness depletes ones finances completely, & Mmj should be provided by the government, without exception.

Ask that those able to help contact you through the PMs. I feel that in this country, help should be available to you BEFORE you've gone this long.
