Acoustic Guitar Players

Anybody here big on acoustic music? One of my favorite duets is Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon and their 6 & 12 string sound. I had the pleasure of seeing Arlo Guthrie as well as Willy Nelson pretty recently. :deadxmas:

the MACC has a pretty good set up for shows
cannot lie

when I saw Steel Pulse (2013) David Hinds finished the show with an acoustic set
that was pretty sweet way to send everyone home

you know who else had a nice acoustic set? Alice in Chains!
I was at the LA Paladium in 92, and they came on after Tool encored with Sober (hoooooooooo badass!)...it was once of their first "Jar Of Flies" performances, and the album wasn't released yet. they got booed hard at first as everyone was expecting "Man In The Box" action (and Tool just rocked), but they held strong and played a great set.
Jerry Cantrell is one of my favorites....

Alice in Chains is soo good, they've been consistently good since day 1. A lot of bands have quality that diminished over time

I'm a little late to the party lol
but Mike Dawes is an excellent acoustic player that should definitely be heard...
