Finally JJ makes some moves that I like.....In all seriousness though my cowboys have a 34 year old starting QB with a bad back, Brandon Weeden will be starting at some point this year, and I will cry when it happens.

Schaub had a bad year last year, no doubt, but i doubt he throws so many pick-6's this year. Sometimes players have bad stretches, qb's too.
Raiders are still in year 3 of their rebuilding plan, probably wont be till year 5 that it really comes to fruition. they didnt make a lot of moves in free agency but i like that they didnt panic and blow their cap space by overpaying for decent free agents.

JJ claims the photos were misrepresented. taken in a restaurant. i guess that could be a fancy restaurant, the hallway where they have the bathrooms. still doesnt mean these ladies didnt blow him in the bathroom after a few lines of coke.
i guess its good to be rich.

I'm thinkin about catching that one also, ticket prices are a lot better in az than santa clara...I'll probably go to one reg season game at the new stadium this season, just not sure which one yet...so many good games on the schedule.

SF didnt look great yesterday, but its preseason. I remember peyton's colts would annually go 0-4 or 1-3 in the preseason, and always wind up winning 11 or 12 games.
Gabbert, huh? If harbaugh can turn him into a serviceable qb, give him whatever he wants.

how much are tickets to the fancy new stadium anyway? guess someones gotta pay for it...

ticket prices have actually gone down a bit over the last couple weeks, I'm guessing do to loss in faith caused by practice game play. Week 2 Chicago @ SF tix start @ $250 on seat geek but that's also the first REAL game in the new stadium so I imagine that adds a certain element to the demand, also the rematch of Kaep's first official start etc. To put it in more perspective: average home game cost on seat geek starts @ $170-$180 with the bigger match-ups being more(seahawks, bears, etc.)

gabbert...ouch. it would cost us $2mil to cut him...money well spent at this point.

2008 lions were 4-0 in the preseason, they also wen't 0-16 in the regular season...I'm far from worried at this point other than back up qb, I'd rather have baby jesus(Teblow) as our #2 lol

I'm fine with Harbaugh getting a massive contract, it doesn't affect the cap so why not? lol

I hear the new stadium is hot as fuck...people were passing out, some guy had a heart attack, etc...

Its gonna be strictly night games for me unless I can get a seat in the shade.

9ers looked terrible...I hope they don't plan on playing like that all season.

HB.

I think that during the regular season the sun will be lower in the sky and the shade line will fall right in front of the visitors sideline, so north and east facing sides would be best in terms of shade, plus football season in the bay area is usually not as hot as august(unless were talkin candlestick...that place was cold as december in august when i saw the chargers preseason game a couple years back...hopefully early season games home games will be primetime games in future seasons.

What I heard from friends it was hot as hell in the new stadium mainly where there was direct sunlight. Great place to grow. I also heard more people were hanging out by the bar and main walkways (probably because once Gabbert is in its hard to watch). 9ers still have to establish the home field . No touchdowns yet ?

It's going to be a long season , I say playoffs but defense really need to learn routes , and Kapp needs to finish the drives. I think the Houston preseason he's supposed to play the whole first half. Also, if we don't blow out the Chargers next game on Sunday (ya it's preseason)then it's going to be an even longer season.

Worth noting IMO is Ellington our return guy. He's impressed me and Hyde which is going to be a good backup to Gore since Hunter is dL

And anybody catch the Johnny Football game. Reality tv on NFL now a days

I seriously doubt that any team will be playing starters that aren't on the roster bubble for wk 4...typically vets/starters get rest before the reg. season kicks off.

we would have had @ least 6pts if dawson hit those two kicks...would've been better than a goose egg!

Elington will probably be behind LMJ on the depth chart, ellington has been muffing a lot of punts and kicks in practice. He's got great upside...next year for him.

brandon llyod dodging passes....AGAIN. He's still a burner though so the #4 WR slot might belong to him w/ patton and ellington behind him in that order

Yeah our new stadium has sound focusing speakers....so what???? lol

Right , but from what the reports said " Kap will play first half when they play Houston" from the reports that is

Can't believe Dawson missed those two kicks so bad. I mean not even close...SMH moment right there.
Brandon Llyod does have the wheels... The sun might be a factor in the QBs face too.

The new stadium has an app for the shortest line to the toilet... LOL .

LOL at that prohibition against smoking, Nade. Specifically mentioned 'no joints'. They know their audience too well. This means you, Whadeez!

Was checking out the 'seat licenses' the Niners are selling. 3-4k for upper deck midfield. Ouch. And that doesnt include the price of the season tickets themselves which are supposedly twice what they were at Candlestick.
All dem damn silicon valley yuppies, pricing the working class folk out of gameday experience.

Manziel flicked off the Redskins sideline briefly while jogging back to the huddle, in response to some trash talk (this aint college, we're faster than you). Twitter and espn explode with rage. How DARE this young man use a derogatory hand gesture during a violent game. The older generation shake their heads, this is why society is going downhill.
And so the cycle repeats itself.

9ers are gonna be fine, if you remember last year that had a rocky first 3-4 weeks and then that D went into beast mode and they never looked back. I honestly believe this is the 9ers year to win it all, they've been so damn close the past 3 seasons and harbaugh is a great coach, IMO their bound to win it.
