Help identify deficiency (please)

I've been looking around and there is well, quite a bit of conflicting information. So a little help identifying what's going on would be appreciated.

Now the leaves displaying this is not the bottom ones and not the top ones. But about 2/3 the way up. Well mostly. Been feeding Canna Coco A+B usually around 1.0 EC but increasing or lowering doesn't seem to change this. Might be a pH issue. Been having trouble with my pen and not sure I can trust the measurements but I've kept it around pH 5,8.

She's a couple of weeks into flower now. Got 4 clones off her... First time I've gotten a plant into flower. Been making lots of silly mistakes and ended with a male last time... Growing from bag seeds. Clones I made by making an angled cut, split the tip, scraped the skin and stuck it in pre soaked rockwool. No rooting hormone. 10 days and I had this: (quite proud of that)

Good work on the clonening. Not soo hard afterall. In that leaf I see a mag deff. Could possibly be to much ca which seems to be locking it out or I think too much p locks out mag. as well (wait for others to verify this). I would start with fixing that ph pen or buying strips (dont recommend strips but a playas gotta do what a playas gotta do)...and a good flush cuz it seems that maybe adding more nutes to fix the problem is locking it out even further. Others will be by..wait for their diganosis too as im new to coco and I have my own probs at the moment that are similar but I belive mine is due to deff. not excess cuz my shows symptoms in the new growth as well.

P.s. some bugs can make these defficiencies as well so make sure you always stay clean!

funny chit, OP made this post back in 2014 and doesn't even use the forum anymore. I doubt he's waiting for help.

And yet without any other details about his grow everybody tells him to flush his coco. LOL!! Never mind how old this thread is!!!
The amount of misinformation on these boards now is staggering:bashhead:

To me it looks like a severe potassium def to me.. Potassium is readily available at a media pH of 6.0, but starts to fall off below 6.0... when you say you are checking pH are you testing media pH or solution pH? because they are 2 different beasts.. a pH'd solution will not affect media pH or root zone pH very much at all...Besides media buffers ( such as Lime or Gypsum) the only thing that will affect your media pH is your Nitrogen content in solution.

If I were you I would get some gypsum or dolomite lime and lightly top dress your pots then scratch it in with a fork.. then water well

EDIT somehow I missed your rockwool picture.. if you are growing in rockwool then solution pH is very important.... you will need to figure out your N content and adjust accordingly to achieve the root zone pH you are looking for

This is the coco forum. Adding dolomite lime to straight coco would probably cause a lockout as the lime would raise the ph to near 7.0 and you don't want to go much over 6.3 in coco.:tiphat:

In case any 1 is wondering what the problem actually was ...it started as nute burn and due to having to high of an ec he locked out mag.
Then i think the grow gods locked him out of the grow room ...lol
